Mac’s Tire Service

Took my 02 Tacoma in on Wednesday informing Rodney I’m leaving for Mammoth today. Though they were slammed with work, they had my truck ready to go in time. I had a ton of work needing to be done as well and can’t say enough how much I appreciate the level of customer service I received. They’re honest, they’re fairly priced, and they’re incredibly friendly.
I went here on a recommendation from a good friend and am elated to say that these guys are the best. The amount of work my truck needed (I knew what was wrong before taking it in) was immense.
My truck drives like it’s brand new, my alignment has never been this good. I highly recommend them.

Been going to Mac’s for several years now and I’ve always been happy. They have rotated, balanced and repaired my tires many times and they’re always quick and charge minimal prices, usually between $ 20 – 45. And they’ll always check out your tires and air them up for free. Best of all, they’ve never tried to sell me BS repairs and parts.

Brought a part in a rotter to be changed when I left it was still grinding. Rodney who works there tells me «well you didn’t tell me that’s the issue» I said well your guys obviously saw something wrong. He said we just changed what we were told to do! I said so you’re not like any other good repair shop that when you notice something else wrong you’d let your client know? He still proceeded to say we did what we were told!
That’s bad business because it just means forget what is really wrong let’s just change what he wanted us to and collect his money! Bad business, I will never bring my business to this place again. Warning they will see the real problem but not tell you if it meant they’d get paid on what you want them to do.
Bad business, not to mention the place is dirty, old and messy. I should have know something was up when the mechanic came in and nodded his head.
Save yourself the trip and don’t use this place!

I’ve been going to Mac’s Tires since 1988 when I moved to this area. Over these 25 years I have bought sets of tires for a small SUV, big SUVs and 3 RVs. I keep going back because the service is as good as it gets, the mechanics are skilled, the prices are always competitive and virtually any tire brand can be bought. Another thing is that the owner, Rodney, doesn’t forget about the customer after the customer buys tires there. He takes good care of them throughout the life of the tires.
For my money, there’s no need to go to the big corporate chains when a customer can get really good personalized service from a local business.

Great local place! Good services and decent competitive prices. Not a cheap slap on $ 50 tire place. They carry the good stuff
