Got to try the chorizo breakfast burritos here! They are delicious especially when you add their salsa to it.

Holly cow. I am in love! I’m very Mexican and I have Never tried good chile verde before but my moms. This place has the best chile verde I have ever had! Yes, Better than my moms (how sad). I hate the fact the run out of a lot of things but man, I am obsessed right now. I’ll return tomorrow to try the carne asada torta and brirocks? Ham and jalapeño. I can’t wait!

I ordered an al pastor burrito and it was OK. Tasted a little bland and had really big chunks of potato that had no flavor.
I was really disappointed in the chocolate chip cookie though. I thought this place was a bakery… It was more like bread than a cookie and the chocolate chips were really hard.

Had some breakfast burritos, bierocks, and pastries. Food was excellent. I’m not usually in this area and found this place on Unilocal and will definitely be back. Prices are good too.

Ordered a carne asada burrito. It was flavorless and the meat was mostly fat. Would not recommend. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and said it was good. If craving a burrito Robertitios would be a better choice.

I went there one day to buy Mexican Bread (pan dulce) for a work party. I myself am not a fan of pan dulce from anywhere but let me tell you, it was a hit at work! So I thought I’d treat myself to a breakfast burrito the next day. Yum-​O! I love breakfast burritos and this has to be a favorite of mine now. I got the chile verde burrito with potatoes, eggs and cheese. Cooked to perfection and a reasonable price! Another perk is the friendly staff. I will go back to try other things as soon as I have a chance!

The breakfast burritos are huge, cheap and delicious! I call ahead after work and get one to share with my wife. The ‘cheesecake’ is also amazing, my 5 year keeps talking about how yummy it was.
The sandwich wasn’t anything special in my book, but my wife did enjoy it, just wasn’t great to me.
Amazing little shop and glad I found it on Unilocal.Frequent customer now!

Ruben’s is legit! This place is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I’ve been here 3 times in 4 days. Ridiculous I know, but it’s that good. The first time I tried the Carnitas Burrito for lunch and it was outstanding. Next I tried one of their Specialty Sub Sandwich and that too was delicious. The bread is so fresh and the ingredients are plentiful. The only problem was the sandwich was way too filling! Today I had a Carne Asada Burrito for lunch and it was so freaking good (I’m usually a chicken burrito person) but I’m sure that’s good too. Their salsa is perfect as well. Oh and I took a Bierock Togo for tonight! I can’t say enough about this place. I literately want to try everything there and let’s not forget about their Danishes, donuts, cookies etc… I haven’t even scratched the surface yet! Not only has everything I’ve ordered been outstanding, the prices are good, really good and the place is convenient and spotless and the girls working there are little sweethearts. They’re very sweet and personable and extremely helpful. They’ve been serving the Fresno area for over 30 years for a reason and it shows. Check this place out, you won’t regret it!

I had a sandwich today.
5.95 it was one of the best I’ve had.
great bread, plenty of meat, fresh toppings.
had the Italian .
this would be enough for two normal people if chips and a cookie were added. huge!
they were a bit heavy on the mayo/​mustard so next time I will ask for lighter amounts.

Went to Ruben’s Bakery in Clovis for the first time this morning. First off I would like to compliment the front staff great customer service. I had a breakfast burrito it was very good and very big. All the pastries looked really good I did not try one but definitely will be back to grab some for the family. Nice to have this in our neighborhood.

I was expecting to see a bigger variety of Mexican bread…
But it actually looks more like a donut shop.
I wish it was fresher.
I’ve been here a couple times, really attempted to like this place… But I was set for failure every time.

Awesome breakfast burritos! Love the chili verde one. Large selection of pan dulce and some yummy looking pastries. Bierocks are yummy, I am looking forward to trying the different varieties. I didn’t like the coffee, but could have been an off day. Friendly service and good prices.

Excellent pan dulce! Great customer service and so happy the bakery is in a great location! The burritos are just like my Mom used to make… You need to try this bakery!

I have had the chile verde breakfast burrito (huge), carnitas lunch burrito (huge)(amazing!), traditional beerock, & the super fresh turkey sandwich (huge). All were perfect, I would have any of them again. Staff was super nice & helpful & homemade salsa was great & everything was super fresh. Every time I go there is more & more people there but I don’t mind the wait because the food is worth the wait. & the prices are great, I’ll keep coming back!!!

not happy with the donuts, however the message from Marissa was spot on as a very professional and class act in response to my review, and that deserves 5 stars in my book! Maybe the pastries are not for me, and perhaps I can try the beerocks next time! :) After all, you can’t please everyone all the time right? Thanks Ruben and Marissa!

Baker called in sick so I guess we had to purchase the old donuts from day before that never sold. It tasted like the donuts in a grocery store, the ones that try to be fresh but clearly never taste like a donut from an actual donut shop. Disappointing and still full price. I’ll stick to Judy’s from now on.

Unfortunately it has to stay at 2 stars for me
The bun seems thinner, which is good. but the filling in the regular Bierock needs improvement as it is too bland. More nutmeg or allspice or whatever you use… many different seasonings can be used.
Also, the open front door is a Fresno County Health Department violation. (see pic)

Ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. Also bought a variety of the pasties/​pan dulce. Everything is delicious and fresh. Customer service is top notch. My only suggestion would be to post prices. I will definitely be back.

Service: Great customer service. Very friendly and helpful!
Food: Tried the bierocks. AWESOME! I will definitely go back! Everything looked very fresh, and they even explained to me how they make the breads.
Offerings: Bierocks, danishes, Mexican pastries and breads, breakfast burritos, lunch burritos, donuts (YUMMY!), cakes, cupcakes, french breads, sandwiches.

Danishes are tasty.
Great pie-​sized tart (bought for administrative professionals day) — good price too ($ 10)
Breakfast burrito was tasty — homemade salsa delicious
Beerocks bread was good, (pizza style) filling left a little be desired, but I’ll try another or two before calling final judgement on those.
Always friendly and attentive and helpful staff there. I like the décor too.
