Along with the home made food that we offer, we now have live music every Friday and Saturday evening from 7:30 till 11:30. There are special events offered through out the months. Check us out on Facebook to keep up with all of the entertainment & events. We specialize in good homestyle food. From biscuits & gravy, bacon & eggs, omlettes to prime rib or pizza. We have a pizza parlor that is connected to the café. We make our own sauces and dough and have a variety of pizza for all taste. From an 8″ to 16″ in size.
History
Established in 1994.
This restaurant was a spin off of the original Iron Horse Restaurant in Fresno. My wife worked there for her sister and brother-in-law. When they left there, they worked with my wife and I to get this going. We built from them and with the help of our staff and customers have been able to build this café from the ground up. It was a closed café when we took it over, and as many small business’s worked long hours every day to make sure things were taken care of. My wife, Teresa, worked 7 days a week when we first started, our daughter Pam has been there since she was 11 and our son strated out washing dishes, then moved up to cooking. He has moved on to a different line of work. We moved from the corner of Bullard and Minnewawa after about 15 years to Shaw & Academy. It has been a good move, there are great new customers and we still have retained most of our original customers that started with us. We used to see parents with thier kids, now we see those kids with thier kids.

Business Owner
Teresa has worked in the restaurant industry since 1986, as a cashier, waitress and now owner. She developes the menu items, food preparation, work schedules and inventory. Richard takes care of the maintenance and promotions.
