History

Established in 2012.

It was a warm, sunny day in January, 2012, when one of the most prominent national trial law firms focused on litigation in the areas of asbestos, mass tort, personal injury and the BP oil spill had a light bulb idea. They found that there was not legal case management or legal case intake software on the market that served their needs as a plaintiff law firm.

They found that most legal case management software technology was taking away from the personal nature of practicing law. They felt that technology could, and should bring a law firm closer to their clients and give them that «warm and fuzzy» feeling to make them feel special and want to be lifelong clients.

On that same, warm, sunny day in January, 2012, Law Ruler legal case management software was born and started growing, building, and learning.

In April, 2015, Law Ruler Software, LLC was spinned off and established as its own marketing entity and made available for all plaintiff law firms.

Meet the Business Owner

Dan J.

Business Owner

Daniel once dreamed of running his own technology company and first began developing software and technology solutions while in elementary school from a young age. Additionally, Daniel was invited to attend Johns Hopkins University in their gifted student program at the age of 12.

He developed a passion for technology and transforming visions into revenue-​producing technology solutions. Daniel began his technology endeavors after receiving his Bachelors Degree in 1997 from Clark University, a small, highly specialized institution outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

Daniel is a serial entrepreneur with a successful track record of creating and building several leading companies in the government, insurance, and legal software space. One of Daniel’s startup companies grew from a garage-​based 1-​man startup into a highly-​profitable public company with over $ 36 million dollars in annual revenue that was ranked in the top 3% of IT companies in North America.
