Specialties
Originally in Boston’s «Famed» Jewelers Building, we moved to Cohasset in 1982. As in Boston, most of what we sell is made «in-house», effectively cutting out the middleman and passing the savings on to our you! This approach allows us to control the incredible quality that you’ll find in our jewelry.
You won’t find any blue/black sapphires, light/mossy green emeralds or brownish yellow diamonds in our cases. Our mountings are all solidly made to last many years.
Our many years of experience manufacturing, as well as our expertise in sourcing and buying fine jewelry and gems, allows us to assure that the items that we carry in our store are of the finest quality and will bring you many years of enjoyment. Unlike department stores and chain stores, our knowledgeable sales staff can inform you about what makes our items a better choice, while still offering LOWER prices.
History
Established in 1982.
Formerly located in the Jeweler’s Building in downtown Boston for 30 years, we relocated to historic Cohasset on Boston’s beautiful South Shore over 33 years ago. On July 1, 1982 we re-opened as Cohasset Jewelers and closed the Boston store. Now over a quarter-century later, we have become the benchmark for fine jewelry stores south of the city.
Our value proposition combined with our unique sales approach have won us awards from multiple agencies including Boston Magazine, South Shore Living Magazine, Mariner Newspaper Group and the Massachusetts State Senate. Cohasset Jewelers has become the store South Shore residents turn to when looking for that special piece of jewelry or unique gift.
Our mission is to constantly provide «Surprisingly Affordable, Quality Jewelry» to our customers while providing an unparalleled level of service.
Meet the Business Owner
Mark C.
Business Owner
Our business is different than most of our local competition. We are «Real Jewelers», not merely jewelry retailers. I have been in the jewelry business for over 30 years. I was fortunate to learn the ropes from my dad who had spend 28 years in Boston’s Jewelers Building. We left Boston in 1982 and have since become the standard for fine quality jewelry on the south shore with prices competitive or BETTER than what you’ll find in the city. It’s all about overhead and our costs in Cohasset allow us to provide not only great prices, but easy free parking and a commute that’s almost as pleasurable as the fine jewelry we offer. Mark C
