Laura is awesome. Got shellac nails with foils. First time and she was patient with me, explaining everything and even doing it on one nail to see if I’d like it. Definitely coming back again!

My girlfriend goes here all the time and counts down the days till she can get a foot massage… her descriptions might convince me to try one someday :-D I don’t know a ton about nails, but my girlfriend is an artist and is obsessed with them so I would trust her to know who can do the job right. Whenever we travel and she tries out another place she gets grossed out that people use a community foot tub and worries about fungus or skin problems. She says it is the cleanest salon and the people who work there have been there since she was a kid and are the best. She loved the gift I got her for her birthday the first time, so I get her one every year like clockwork.

I’ve been going to Nail Essential for 10 years — since it opened. They are lovely people, the place is immaculate. They use a clean and newly lined foot bath for each client. It’s so much cleaner than putting your feet in those foot baths that are attached to the chair. Those don’t come that clean! I have NEVER had a problem with any tech, they all speak English very well and will do their best to please you. Ava is my go to girl although Julie, Laura, Cindy, Hannah and Tina are all very good too! I have recommended them and given many gift certificates and all have come to the same conclusion. Nail Essentials is a great salon.

A bit cheaper but this place so small and not really comfortable. It’s like get the nail done then get out .It’s not really enjoy. Their service just right. If u willing to spend a couple more dollar .I think you should go to a place across from Jeames restaurant in North Scituate .it’s right on Gannett rd

A great find right here on 3a… professional, anyone there knows how to give the fissured person a great manicure, pedicure or what ever you require. Better hours than most in the area also. I went to several others here in the area and finally found the best!!!

I’ve been there twice to get my nails done and both times were just bad. I’m new to the area and wasn’t sure where to go to get a quality manicure and this place just wasn’t it. The first time I attempted to get a french manicure for a wedding that evening and I have never seen such a sloppy job done and she was content with the work. The lines were not straight and by looking at it I thought it may have been her first time. So I had to have it repolished with just a solid coat. The place was busy when I went it, so I thought I would give it a 2nd chance and have someone else next time. Unfortunately it was the same result. I just was not happy with the quality of a basic manicure. so far I haven’t found a place that does the same or better quality of work that previous salon in South Boston provided — I guess I will continue to drive 40 minutes to Southie for the $ 15 french manicure that includes a salt scrub/hot stone hand massage.
