Trigger point techniques based on the work of Dr. Janet Travel are used in combination with traditional chinese medicine and japanese meridian style techniques of Kiiko Matsumoto.

Business Owner

A former Broadway performer, my path with acupuncture began as a need to heal myself and extends through a desire to assist others on their path to healing and greater joy. In 2000, I completed Myotherapy Institute of Massage Therapy’s 700 hour course in massage, including study in Swedish Massage, Polarity and Shiatsu techniques. I followed this with Bikram yoga instructor training in 2002, where I was chosen by Bikram Choudhury to be one of 10 demonstrators of this practice for the graduation ceremonies. A desire to explore healing modalities further led to my course of study at TriState College of Acupuncture, which I graduated from with honors in 2011. After graduation I have continued my studies with Mikio Sankey in Esoteric Acupuncture. I endeavor to maintain a compassionate approach in my practice and I understand the intricate processes involved with charting a new course toward expanding into greater health and self awareness.
