Just had my 5 month old Toy Yorkie, Tinkerbelle Gwenivierre, to her first Dr visit and got her rabies shot & microchipped by Dr Fritz. He is, by far, the nicest Vet I’ve ever met. His table-​side manner with my 4lb wonder was excellent. She loved his manner, very calming. I’ll definitely be back!

When I moved here from Southern CA, I took my 20 year old cat here. At age 20, she’s seen her fair share of vets, some good, some not so good.
I was very impressed with Dr. Fritz’s intelligence, sensitivity, and professionalism. He explained things in detail and had state of the art equipment, offering services that my previous vets didnt offer. After taking my cat to him a few times, I had to move further away and eventually my cat passed at 23. Im now back in Colfax and when Im ready for another cat, I will definitely be using his services.

Incredibly caring, sensitive, knowledgeable, careful and innovative! Those are some of the words that come to mind when I think about Colfax Vet, Dr. Fritz and his staff. We had our Great Dane boarded here when we went on vacation and he was so terrified and scared, the staff there sat with him in his kennel daily until he felt comfortable enough to come out and try to relax.
Dr. Fritz helped us with our dog who got hit by a car, he was knowledgeable and gave me sound advice on our options and things we could do. His recommendations for ongoing prescriptions are honest even if it saves his clients money. I appreciate his expertise and knowledge, and his friendly and helpful staff.

When we first moved to Colfax, we needed veterinary checks for our teacup pomeranian and three cats. The staff at CVH was wonderful! They took their time with us and went over all the options to help us provide the best veterinary care for our four-​legged family and still be able to pay our monthly bills. Best vet around and if you take your pets here, you’ll be glad you did!

We moved to Colfax 2 years ago and were pleased to find Dr. Fritz! He doesn’t order tests or procedures that are not necessary. The resident cat acts as if he works there with his friendly greetings! We have three cats and a dog who have been to Dr. Fritz many times and have been treated with respect every time!

I took my 1 year old bunny to be spayed after a bad experience at the SPCA in Roseville. Doctor Fritz and his staff were awesome! They are friendly and cordial, they listen and made me feel like I mattered as a customer but more importantly they took good care of Snowball and confirmed that she is a very sweet, well behaved bunny. I appreciate the doctor taking his time to answer my questions and give me advice as to the care of Snowball. I recommend them highly.

I’ve been to lots of Vets in my lifetime.
Dr. Ed Fritz is the best Vet I’ve ever experienced.
It has been said that being a Vet is more difficult than being an MD. The patients can’t tell you where they hurt, and they have to know about more than one species.
Dr Fritz listens carefully to the owner and is very sensitive to the indications of the patient. He is extremely intuitive.
I wish my primary care physician was so insightful.
This the best Vet facility that I have ever experienced.

I always took my dog in. They have a very friendly, professional staff. They let kids stay in and say goodbye to their pets that are being put to sleep (if you prefer to do that sort of thing).
