I eat at Chipotle multiple times a week, and this is by far the WORST chipotle I have ever been to. They operate with the mantra that«students will come» since they are basically on the UMD campus. The employees were extremely rude, and took no precautions to satisfy patrons wants/needs. Rice/Beans were fine, but the Meat was extremely disgusting, and if I wasn’t very hungry would have been unedible. The steak was very chewy, and cold, and the chicken was crunchy.(I was served what was left in the bottom of the tin. I payed for double meat, and was given half. After paying, I noticed and tasted this, and was told I would have to wait in line again to have it remade. Tables were dirty, and trash was overflowing. I will most definitely not give this chipotle my business anymore. General Manager, Fidel Umana feel free to reach out to me. A proper solution will change my views, and alter my review. Right now you get one star, and a complaint to corporate.

I’ve gone to this location for years and have never seen it this condition. There was no lettuce, the Guac looked a few days old(brown-green color), and lemons must be requested at the register. Because it’s close to UMD, this location is always packed so having to stop the line and request lemons is redundant. The cherry on top is getting cold food. Never been this disappointed with Chipotle.

They put rice on my burrito and said we had to «wait for chicken» waited 15 minutes and a good 6 people left. While i was waiting the cook that was cutting the chicken was goofing around and wasnt doing his job. Finally after a good 15 – 20 minutes the lady turned around and said«would you like chicken?» The staff is terrible at there jobs. They goof around and are terrible at customer service. If I had another option I would have left right away. No apologies were given and I left unhappy as always. I hate writing bad reviews but ive never been this unhappy with chipotle before. Something needs to be done.

This place is usually packed during the school year. But come winter break, business slows down. I mean it sucks for corporate but works just fine for me — no waiting in line. Woo!

I like Chipotle. I try to visit at off peak times to avoid lines. The salads are my favorite. The vinaigrette is wonderful.

Let me start by saying this location is next to UMD. So it’s full of college students day and night and more employees look to be that age too. Not chipotle’s fault but it does effect the ambience/lack there of. The line at this place is almost always to the door. So it’s hard to say there is a better time to go. Just except a serious wait anytime near a usual meal time. The line moves at a snails pace. And there are college students been loud and depending on the time of day obviously drunk. As you creep up to the counter, now ravenously hungry your probably like me — sure excited. You place your order eyes a glow. And suddenly they give you a ½ of scoop of rice and you and your starving self are disappointed. I ask for more and the«extra» I get is even less then the 1st. Like I’m taking from their personal stash. So now annoyed and hungry I move quickly down the line. Why did it take so long to get here? Pay for my order and sit down with my small burrito. Better to skip the line and headache and head over to a different location.

Poor customer service. They will be very shy on the ingredients. If u ask for rice, they give you a third of a full scoop. Meat is very poor.

As some others have said, this Chipotle location definitely leaves a lot to be desired. The parking situation and the lines at lunchtime can be insane. I can understand that this is a popular restaurant, but when you get to the front to place your order, the scene explains why the line is so long. The turnover at this location is very high and the training seems to be lacking. There appears to be lots of confusion. The amounts you’re given vary wildly from visit to visit. As soon as you get used to certain amounts of ingredients, someone new is working at the counter and everything changes. The tomato salsa is consistently not drained, so you’re getting a ¼ cup of pure liquid in your bowl, which soaks through the bag by the time you get back to work(or wherever). The third star is purely for the fact that I can’t get enough of the incredible Chipotle chicken. I’ve tried countless times to replicate it at home. If I could, I’d take back one of the stars and save $ 7 at lunchtime. I’d like to say that I won’t be back, but being the hungry Chipotle sucker that I am, I know I will.

I love chipotle…(ordinarily) But I ate at the college park location on 1÷6÷15 and have been in the bed ever since then… I won’t say it’s food poisoning, but it sure does feel like it… I feel awful… never again… The girl washed her hands, put on gloves… and then proceeded to fussing with the register person about bags… with gloves on… In addition the food wasn’t hot… wth…I know I could’ve dedlined service… I should have… but my stomach is made of steel… I never get sick… I didn’t think twice about them fussing over bags on the floor… I know smh at myself…

All Chipotles are pretty much the same. The reason I am reviewing this particular one is the staff… they are phenomenal. Today I ordered a catered lunch for 14 people. When I picked it up 20 minutes after ordering they had EVERYTHING correct. Every single order was right. I was amazed. They even helped me fill all the sodas and carry everything to my car. I am really impressed with the level of customer service this crew provides their customers.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Jen. F. And I really feel that I have to put in my $.02 because there are quite a few dissenting opinions regarding this place. This is pretty much one of the worst Chipotle establishments that I have been to. I think that the fundamental problem is that the staff are not able to maintain quality when faced with many customers. The problem has become systemic and instead of the quality dropping just when there are long lines, the quality and attention to detail are consistently low. In particular I feel that the taste of the food suffers because of sloppy assembly, and also because of hastily prepared constituent components. And the most egregious errors are made with the rice, which, let’s face it, is pretty much the backbone of everything that they make except for quesadillas(which are special order anyway). The rice here simply doesn’t taste the same as the rice at other chipotle restaurants. The easiest way to describe it would be to say that it has much less flavor, specifically, that it is less salty and tastes diluted and sort of watered down. This effectively ruins any burrito or bowl made using the rice, regardless of the quality of the other ingredients. With regard to lack of attention to detail, I will say the following two things, though there are many more areas that I could comment on(some of which have been addressed in other reviews). First, why put scoops of mostly bean liquid without many beans into a burrito? Don’t you figure that that will result in a soggy burrito? Or don’t you care? Secondly, if your going to offer a vegetarian protein(the so-called sofritos) shouldn’t you take some care to make sure that meat doesn’t fall into the container, this issue goes beyond just contamination, I’ve actually seen them serve pork into a veggie bowl. I’m not vegetarian, but imagine how the recipient of that bowl felt! To top it all off, the lines are always ridiculously long at reasonable meal times plus and minus 2 hours, so pretty much any time you may wish to eat. I guess that is not their fault, one way to overcome this issue would be to order ahead online so you can skip the line.

The burrito bowls are big enough for two meals and they’re only $ 8 You can expect a huge line if you go during peak lunch or dinner hours, but the counter is so well-staffed that it goes by very quickly. I’ve been standing in a line that extends out the door and still ordered in less than 15 minutes. Speak loudly and clearly when placing your order and you should have no problems. And if you want more beans or whatever, just say so! Don’t expect to get tons of individual attention from the employees because they’re working with the same goal as you in mind — super speedy, yummy food delivery. PS they are also great for catering and fundraisers. They are a popular choice among university organizations for these purposes.

Cheap, filling, delicious, makes you fart a lot. IT’S A CHIPOTLEYEAHHHHH Really close to campus. Portions are decent. The workers are really efficient so even if the line seems long fear not, you will be eating your lime-juice(ORISITIT’S SOADDICTIVE)-laced rice and beans soon enough.

This location needs to double check the food! I have never been to a Chipotle where everything was greasy and made me sick on my stomach! The lettuce was wilted and everything else was just greasy. Yuck!!!

This place is just like any other Chipotle but the customer service was not good and the portions were small. Employees are college kids who don’t care about serving you and my burrito came out to be half the size of the one of any other Chipotle I’ve been to.

What’s not to love about eating burrito the size of a baby filled with wonderful spices and textures? This Chipotle is the run of the mill store – sparse on décor, pretty minimalist, etc. But let’s be honest, no one comes to Chipotle for the ambiance, they come for the delicious Mexican food. I’ve found that the service at this location is a hit or miss depending on the employee. Some skimp but honestly, don’t feel bad asking for a bit more if you truly feel they are cheating you out of the proper amount. For the most part the food here is pretty consistent which is what I look for in fast food joints. It’s the perfect stop off campus for your Mexican fix but be warned that this place can be packed during lunchtime.

So I work in the area and it is a short walk to Chipotle from my office. I have been going there regularly for the past 7 months. Sometimes twice a week. The food is consistently excellent. Where my problem with them lies is primarily the dwindling portions but also the lack of good service. I went today and watched two different people get the same meal and one got 2 spoons of rice, the other 1. The one gentleman got very little veggies and the other much more. I inquired about this and I am not even sure if the server understood what I was asking. I got a blank look and a mumbled«no». Another gentleman asked for cheese and it never made it onto his burrito. I asked him and said that it was no big deal. I had to request additional veggies as well. This has been the case for at least the past 2 months. I think I am going to be visiting this place less and less. There are tons of other places to eat in this area or maybe I will just switch to PB&J and save some money.

Good chipotle, doesn’t skimp on portions. Convenient and close to campus. Only problem I have with them is that you have to pay for parking in their lot…

This is hands down the best Chipotle I have ever been to. Back when I was a student at UMD, I would go to this Chipotle once a week. The lines here are the longest I have ever seen, but this Chipotle is extremely quick and efficient and the line never takes long(except on Halloween!) I’ve found that the quality of ingredients here are higher than the Chipotles I’ve been to in NY. Whenever I’m back in town I make sure to stop at this Chipotle!

Chipotle is Chipotle is Chipotle… until you get to CP. A couple of observations(bulletized since it’s almost 1am and I should have been two eyes shut and ten toes up over an hour ago): 1. You have to pay for parking. At a damn strip mall??? And there is a CP meter maid who makes her rounds through the parking lot constantly so you can’t get over on anything. Just pay the $ 0.75 per hour and avoid the ticket. 2. They’re cheap on the meat. Not sure why, but the guy was very measured in how much barbacoa he gave me. Great if you’re a student, not if you’re there for a conference. I’d stick with Potbelly.
