Led by Dr. Kathy Mellott, Au.D., the staff of audiology professionals are proud to provide expert audiological and hearing aid services at all three Audiology Unlimited locations. In addition to providing complete hearing and balance services, a variety of high-​end makes, models, and brands are available for hearing aids and ear plugs, if required by clients. Area musicians –and their friends –will appreciate Dr. Mellott’s uniquely focused attention on specialty earplugs, designed to maximize the protection of musicians’ ears for life.

Audiology Unlimited is currently accepting new patients, as well as most insurance providers. History

Established in 1994.

College Park Hearing Services is part of the audiology practice of Dr. Kathy Mellott, audiologist. Services include complete audiological evaluations and hearing aid sales and service. Although Dr. Mellott is only in this office 2 days per week, the office staff is available Monday — Saturday to make appointments, accept payments and assist is purchases of batteries and other hearing aid supplies.

Dr. Kathy Mellott got her Au.D. in 2003 after practicing as a certified and licensed audiologist since 1978. During her more than 35 years in the field, she has worked as an educational audiologist, a pediatric audiologist and a private practice audiologist. She completed a residency in medical audiology and auditory brainstem response at Duke University Medical Center in 1981 and started the Neurotology Unit at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD in 1983. After 6 years on the faculty in the Georgetown University Hospital Dept of Otolaryngology, she started Audiology Unlimited. Later College Park Hearing Services was incorportated into her private practice.
