Closed as of 12⁄2013. New manager obviously drove them into the ground and the family was unable/unwilling to adjust. So many new pizza joints opening up recently in College Park that you can’t afford to not pay attention to your business. My family eagerly awaited the opening of this Fox’s franchise. It was our favorite pizza place *until* they brought in a new night/weekend manager. From then on, it was all downhill. We sent friends and neighbors here and at least one local high school sports team made this location their Friday night carb-out and hang-out place with students and their families. Oh well…

The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is that I’ve only sampled a limited portion of their menu. The barbecue chicken pizza is delicious and so are their mozzarella sticks!

We stood at the Super 8 next door on vacation and had Fox’s Pizza two nights in a row it was that good. Thanks for the great pie!

You guys are terrible! I had the pizza and I will not be back! Small and light with no real flavor and was a bit pricy! Your pizza is worth about five dollars for a large, no more

Having been there and been there again, we found between the last time and now that my husband had a gluten allergy and pizza was out of the question unless you bought your own or went to Domino’s. Sick and tired of the card box crap of the ‘mo’s — my husband was going stir crazy for real pizza. Enter the Den. Fox’s Den is now offering Gluten Free Pizza! We are super thrilled. AND it was good(well the husband said it was). And the wigs are really fat and meaty with a great sauce.. So we have a new favorite pizza shop and we can both enjoy it!

I went here for lunch on a weekday. The place was empty! Undeterred, I ordered anyway. Based on reviews from this site, I got the Stromboli. Indeed it was good; one of the best I’ve had, but that’s not saying much since I don’t eat a lot of Stromboli. I also ordered some wings to go. They were also quite tasty. The service was decent, but the restaurant itself didn’t look very clean. The floor was a little sticky, and I was too scared(of what I would encounter) to go into the bathroom. All in all, I would go back.

Fox’s Pizza Den is a Pennsylvania tradition. So, I was a little more than psyched to see an outpost in the DC metro area. Wedgies(not the kind you get in high school), fried goodness and PA backwoods«charm»(wainscoting and Formica n’at) abounds. I had the turkey wedgie, my husband had some variation of Italian(meaty goodness of a questionable critter). They were large, stuffed and perfect. A taste of home. Look, this isn’t a date night place or anything fancy, but damn is it a taste of home, and for that, I’ll scoot halfway around the beltway(not in rush hour). The staff is friendly. The food is greasydelicious. The TV is tuned to ESPN. Yinz should go.

I’m only bothering to write a review of a multi-state chain restaurant franchise because I feel the need to poop on it’s Four Star Unilocal Rating. I was jonesing for some pizza and decided to try some place other than Ledo’s or Pizza Autentica(IMO currently the best in CP, but that’s not saying much). So, I got a pizza & Meatball Sub from Fox’s. The Meatball Sub was solid, I only ordered it because Meatballs are not a pizza topping option. Grrr… But the pizza? Bleh! It’s no different than any other Conveyor Belt Franchise Pizza. I felt like I was eating Domino’s or Papa Johns, I couldn’t tell the difference. It’s crap! & I threw ½ of it away. I’d say that Ratsie’s/Pizza Autentica, or Ledo’s are much better options(but they don’t deliver & Ledo’s isn’t real pizza). However, in the pantheon of Pizza, they all are, and others like them, average at best. In summary, There are no outstanding pizza options in CP, only Fast Food Quality Chain Pizza and Average to Forgettable pizza.

Not bad corporate tasting pizza. It had all the elements of pizza, and a fluffy style corporate crust(see pizza hut). This would be two stars in any good pizza state, but this is Maryland, and I don’t think good pizza exists here. One big plus was the speed at which they delivered to the hotel. MEGASUPERUBER fast. Price was good too. Not bad Fox’s.

This has to be the best Stromboli I have had in my entire life and ok, hey the large is enough to feed you for like 3 days. Fox’s food is very well prepared, has a wonderful golden crisp on the top and they deliver on time. If you live outside the delivery radius(according to say GrubHub) try Living Social. That’s my trick anyway.

Fox’s Pizza delivers on time and makes great pizza. The jalapeño poppers are the best around and are stuffed with cheddar cheese rather than cream cheese.

Terp wings got to be the best wings in CP. Pizza is always on point. I love the big daddy with pepperoni and sausage. The sausage is really unique and packs great flavor. The Subs I’ve tried are stuffed with meat and can feed a small army. I don’t care to much for the sweet peppers they put on the steak & cheese but now I know to ask for the sub with out. A must try is the Wedgie… It’s awesome! Specially the taco one. Taco Pizza is out of this world but better consumed there.

My roommate heard that Fox’s Pizza Den is CP’s best pizza, so we decided to give it a go. We called before going to eat in, and got a three topping XL pizza for $ 12(menu coupon can be seen on grubhub). What a deal! They said that they’d have the pizza ready in 15 minutes. I love their pizza! The crust is really good, and I think the pepperoni slices might be slightly thicker than normal? Onions look fresher than those from commercial pizza chains. My roommate noted that there’s less marinara sauce on the pizza itself(he likes marinara), which I personally like more. The end crust is also great, although was a little more than I expected, so I went to ask for ranch. I brought my wallet and everything, but the guy at the counter told me that he’d bring it to our table. Awesome! I didn’t pay for it. Sweet! Roommate also ended up deciding to get marinara sauce, and he got the same treatment. It’s a really good amount of sauce, and it apparently costs 50 cents. We both tipped $ 1 before leaving, since he was nice about it. :) I’m a fan! I finished my half of the XL pizza, which is an anomaly and kind of mindboggling. I finished half of that? What can I say– it’s good! I will definitely be coming back!

The pizza, stromboli, and cheese sticks that I had here were quite good and very reasonably priced. I’m only giving four stars because I grew up eating at the various incarnations of the Hancock, MD, location; the location in College Park churns out considerably greasier fare(the cheese sticks shine so bright!). Still, I really did enjoy my dinner here. It’s way better than Pizza Autentica.

This place has great outreach. I learned about them when some of their employees stopped into my office to bring some samples of their food when they opened. Their pizzas are great. The 30″ pizza is a standard when I have to feed my RA staff, and it’s very reasonably priced. For normal ordering, I’m definitely pleased with the product and the pricing. The rest of their food has been hit or miss for me, especially their chicken wings. You can tell they’re run through the pizza oven, so it’s nearly impossible for me to get them cooked hard the way I like. When I get them, they still feel under-cooked. I definitely say go for Fox’s if you’re looking for good pizza with quick service.

Definitely impressed so far. I ordered a grilled chicken salad from here. It came with some Potato wedges on top. The ingredients looked fresh, and the salad was huge. They definitely delivered for the price you pay. I will try the pizza next time, and update, but as far as the salads go, they are on point! I recommend this spot in College Park!

used a groupon for this place to place an order online. very convenient! friendly and quick service, and the pizza was really good =). we got the champ square pizza(i don’t know why but pizza in square shapes just taste better!) with sausage, mushroom, and banana peppers. it was tasty… altho my roommate said cumberland one is much better =P i’ll just have to take his word for it. as for me, i can’t say it was mind-blowingly awesome, esp since i’m craving alberto’s in dupont circle, but for the price and quality, it was worth it! i’ll be coming back =)

I hadn’t really paid much attention to Fox’s Pizza Den until I needed something to eat in the wee hours of the morning and it was one of the few places that was open for ordering on GrubHub. I ordered a «wedgie»(first time I’ve asked for one) with steak and cheese, in a special combo with fries and a 20 oz drink. It was delivered within the 45-minute window that had been promised, and the driver handed me a 2-liter bottle of the soda — apparently, they were out of smaller bottles. I appreciated the automatic upgrade, instead of an awkward 1AM phone call asking if I’d like something else. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my wedgie(it’s also the first time I’ve ever said that) — they’d made my steak and cheese on a regular roll. I’d been really curious to try a sandwich on a pizza crust! But the regular sandwich combo was the same price, so it’s not like I lost any money, and I ate it anyway. As subs go, it was alright — they’d used mozzarella, which made it a bit oversalted. Otherwise, pretty typical steak and cheese for the area(which is to say, pretty sad compared to a real Philly cheesesteak). Their wedgie fries are just potato wedge fries, nothing special, and a bit soggy after being delivered. Would I order again? At 1AM, I’ll eat anything… earlier, I’d probably go with something different, like my tried-and-true Ratsie’s.

So long, Dominos. And Boli’s. And everywhere else in CP for that matter. This is a review for the delivery pizza. I haven’t been inside the actual restaurant. Anyway, Fox’s Pizza totally kicks all the other delivery joints’ asses. Why? Well for one, it’s CHEAP. I got a 16″(Xtra Large) pizza with unlimited toppings for $ 10 before delivery charges and tip. In all it only cost me about $ 13.50. I topped mine with pepperoni and bacon. Thick-cut pepperoni and crispy, crispy bacon. The cheese stands out as not being too salty or overbearing on the toppings, although the sauce is nothing to write home about. Also, the crust is on the softer chewy side but it definitely tastes good. It’s a bit greasy but worth every penny, I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.
