Toppings are the key to this pizza. They have a sweet sauce and somewhat inconsistent crust that toes the line between hand-tossed and thin. Pre cooked bacon, thick pepperoni and generous veggies are outstanding. Highly recommend.

Only had the pizza, but it grows on you. I wasn’t sure at first. The crust is very, very good. Almost like a biscuit.

Ledos has the best pizza in my opinion! I love the tomato sauce and everything about their pizza

I will never get back to this place and not only that I will not allow my company to go there ever again. We have been to this restaurant a couple of times and each time it doesn’t fail to give the worst service! They are extremely slow!!! They brought our food three different time and the first person was almost done before the last one got his dish… In all fairness, their pizzas are good, specially the Hawaiian pizza! And their house salad dressing is really good. So I guess I will go to Ledo’s but def not the college park location.,

Ambience is good, pizza bianco is awesome, the scallops are good. But not every single pizza is great. So read these reviews and take their advice seriously. And if you are from Chicago – skip the regular pizza with sausage and onions, and/or red peppers, for that matter. But do try the pizza bianco. They have a small well curated beer selection. Loyal clientele literally spanning from senior citizens to college students. Alumni love this place. Very child friendly, yet they manage to keep the kiddos away from people who did not arrive with their own. Adjacent parking garage.

I was here for a carryout order, so I can’t speak to the service of the wait staff. The place looks great, though. Carryout service: There was a bit of a delay to find my pizzas and get my order together and they were out of plates, but otherwise fine. Pizza: I don’t know what the fuss is about. The pizza was for an event and everyone raved over ledo’s so I picked up four of their largest pizzas as well as four from pizza hut. These same people then ate 100% of the pizza hut pizzas and about 20% of the ledo’s. The people have spoken I suppose. The pizza was surprisingly greasy, bland, and the toppings were plain and added next to nothing to the pizza.

First visit for a family dinner. Awesome décor, ambiance, and friendly service. Lots of college students(of course) and not rowdy. My children(ages 7 and 9) loved it – portions(including the beverages) are huge and the pizzas were tasty. We had enough to take home – something I appreciated as a busy mom. We parked in a nearby parking garage for $ 2.

The recent meal at this College Park, Maryland Ledo Restaurant was a treat from my husband. Both of us enjoyed our dinners, my husband had salmon while I had seafood pizza(the pizza was affordably priced and came out tasting good and included scallops, crab meat, and shrimp). I had rootbeer to drink while my husband had iced tea.

This Ledo does not compare to the location on Georgia ave. Sure this location is roomier and has a bar area but the pizza was bland, undercooked, and the wings were just okay. Also, I disliked the difference in the menu. I wanted an 8inch pizza and they didn’t have that option available. I’m pretty much sold on going to the Georgia Ave location for the BEST Ledo pizza.

One of the fanciest restaurants you can find close to the university. Personally, I tried the Primavera Calzone and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve heard that the cheesecake is delicious too.

Should have listened to other Unilocalers who noted poor service and less than mediocre over-priced food — they were right!

Can’t tell you how the food tastes. They sat us and we waited and waited and waited then we left. 10⁄25 about 8:15. Should we try them again? Prob not. Burger=$ 9.50 add $ 3.50 for fries and coleslaw + drink and tax it’s close to $ 20 w tip. If your gonna charge this much at least get the service right.

Only get the pizza here. Everything else is bland and tasteless. And beyond that. Never ever get the crab cake.

Seeing pizza made in a Detroit style in the middle of Maryland is a wonderful thing. And not the fast food version from Domino’s or Little Caesars either. But the real deal like you’d get at Buddy’s in the D(or in its suburbs at least). All burnt at the corners(carmelized is the more polite way to put it) and cut into wonderful squares for easy indulgence. Of course, there is only so much that a place in Maryland can imitate a Michigan pizza. The sauce on our giant white pie was spread so unevenly that my lady and I had to switch the plate around just so both of us could actually enjoy the pizza. One side was so bland, it was like eating a cracker. The sauced side was absolutely delicious though so I’m thinking that normally they do a better job spreading the love. The rich sauce gut punch and the red sauce sneaking through the cheese everywhere was definitely there on the correct pieces. Inside the restaurant feels like a sports bar with a lot of television sets so it’s not a quiet night out. But I wasn’t expecting it to be right off of Baltimore Avenue. Since they’re pretty much the only game in town for this style of «square pizza» and entertainment on the side, I’ll probably be back. The price for a giant pizza is decent(unless you count the insane amount of calories) at under $ 15.00 base. The pasta is expensive so I didn’t try that yet(even if it’s what I was craving). It could be a decent place to escape and watch college football going forward. At least for games not involving Maryland. Having passed this place many times, it looks like a crap show during those.

I’ve been to other Ledo locations, but this was my first time here. We got there late so there was no wait and we were seated immediately. Their menu and set-up looks slightly different than other Ledos and my husband told me that this one is a little different because it is the«original» one. We ordered the Crab Dip(we weren’t sure what to expect given that we’ve never had that at any of the other Ledos)…this was a great choice! It came in a bread bowl with light, crisp chips… it was absolutely delicious! My husband got a medium Pepperoni Pizza and I got the Chicken Parmesan(pasta). We really enjoyed both of these items. Our server Mark was great… he kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything and he provided refills almost as soon as we put the empty glass down. We will definitely visit this location again!

Friendly staff, great pizza… when you pick up they show you your pizza and ask you if it looks correct — great idea! Tastes great!

I love Ledos!!! The pepperoni pizza is my absolute favorite in the area. The only down side is it is VERY greasy. BUT if your super nice and as politely for a «de greased» pie they might help you out. Not everyone on their staff knows about degreased pie. Basically the make your pizza, take bread and soak off the icky. Mozzarella sticks are also solid.

I grew up eating the original Ledos and the food was always great. Since the move to College Patk it has slowly declined. The pizza was good as usual but everything else a disappointment. The eggplant parm was a little on the sweet side and nothing like it used to taste. We ordered chicken and shrimp penne pasta from the online menu but there was not one shrimp when we got home. Pizza it is from now on.

I couldn’t decide between 2 and 3 stars but almost always give the higher rating when I’m in doubt. Friends were in from out of town and wanted to meet up with some of us locals so they picked Ledo as a good meeting place. One friend is a regular and said he’d made reservations before but tonight they didn’t accept them. They did say if we got there at 6:00 we should be seated right away and we were. When two extra people showed up they were able to add a smaller table to ours with no problem. The service is the main reason I went to 3 stars. There were 9 of us and our waitress was good. She took our orders and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. It was the food that was rather lackluster. Maybe an off night for them but nothing was especially impressive. We all ordered pizza except one person. Two of the pizzas had meat topping, one was plain, and one was a white pizza. The white pizza was pretty tasteless, it definitely needed something, more garlic or something. The cheese pizza was okay, but not outstanding. I don’t eat sausage or pepperoni so didn’t try either of those. The pizza holdout had buffalo wings with sauce on the side and sautéed spinach. The wings looked like all right but nothing special. The spinach with mushrooms looked good. There is a garage right around the corner from the restaurant so parking is pretty convenient. Someone in our party explained that Ledo Restaurant is not associated with Ledo Pizza, so they are not one and the same. I can’t verify that either way, and not sure what, if anything, is or was the relationship. All in all, we would only go back if a group of friends planned to meet there, but wouldn’t make a special trip back. We have much better pizza restaurants closer to our home.
