History
Established in 2005.
The Riggs Alumni Center is more than a building. It is a story that continues to be written.
The tale began when Sam Riggs ’50 and other Maryland graduates asked to build a home on campus where they could reminisce with classmates, celebrate with family and network with colleagues.
Thousands of individuals came together to make the dream a reality. They put their hearts into their work, and the result was more than a series of conference rooms attached to a banquet hall. They created an elegant venue that, while functional, was warm and welcoming.
Now, whether you are a Maryland alumnus or a friend, you can write yourself into the narrative.
