Swift Towing & Recovery

OK, I only had good interactions/​experiences with this guy. Yeah, he can be a little gruff, maybe his personality isn’t for everyone, but I’ve found him friendly, informative, straight to the point, a real guy’s guy keeping it simple, no b.s.
My encounter with him was last summer when he helped me tow my car that would no longer start. Its parked at the back of my house, where it’s very narrow to get in and out — the main entrance also serves as the exit, and there’s a curve to maneuver around.
We drove to my place in a small tow truck– not one with a flat bed. Once he was inside my car, he started pushing it backwards and steering it toward his truck, just using his body weight. It was so quick and efficient, I had to kind of sit there and watch in amazement. To be fair my car isn’t huge — a hatchback integra, but still. He acted as if it were nothing, and was smiling the entirely time, totally good-​natured. Like, just another day on the job.
He expertly moved around the corner. It was close, but he steered carefully and clearly knew what he was doing.
It was so fast, that my husband wasn’t even able to make it back there in time with the worker from the shop. He had to turn back around and follow us to the shop. Oddly enough, Todd and the shop worker did a little race back to see who would get there first. We took different routes.
What started as a stressful and annoying experience almost ended up being kind of fun! Hey, life will be shitty and stressful at times, but may as well enjoy what good comes out of it.
