It was just a matter of time that a Metz bus driver from the Collegeville based bus company was involved in a fatal accident. The Metz owner, in a tv interview, said the bus driver thought she ran over a bag of trash. A 78 year old woman on her way to purchase a lottery ticket compared to a bag of trash! Is there no respect for this woman’s life not to mention her grieving family who will no doubt sue him and the driver. Is there no mindfulness of what to say and not say on (or off) camera? This entire operation from the owner to the drivers needs to be investigated. First, fire the hit and run driver then immediately make sure the remaining drivers are medically cleared to drive. I have firsthand knowledge of this company. They were contracted by my daughter’s school as we did not live within certain boundaries to qualify for regular school district busing. I literally changed jobs after the first year of her riding with them so I could drive her back and forth instead – that’s how bad their driver was.
