Vaughn and Hall is a general practice, full service law firm focused on advising, counseling, and representing individuals, families, and small businesses both in and out of the General Sessions, Probate, Circuit, and Chancery Courts in the Tri-​County area of Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton counties in the State of Tennessee. The firm is dedicated to the highest degree of professional competence and zealous representation in the cases it undertakes. They always comply with legal ethics and their most important objective is the welfare of their clients. Mr. Vaughn and Mr. Hall each have over 34 years of extensive experience in all areas of the general practice of law in the counties of the Memphis Metropolitan area. Both Richard F. Vaughn and Wm. Degree of Juris Doctor from Cecil B. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University in 1973, admitted to the Tennessee Bar April 27, 1974, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee in 1975, admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit in 1975, the Supreme Court of the United States in 1990.

Prosecutor: Served as Lead Prosecutor in City of Memphis, Division 8, DUI Court in 1977.

Pre-​Law: Bachelor of Science from University of Tennessee at Martin in 1971. Member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

Military Service: Upon graduation from high school, Mr. Hall joined the United States Marine Corps and served with the Marine Detachment aboard the USS Newport News, the US Navy Second Fleet Flag Ship, where he was a member of the Second Fleet Marine Detachment Drill Team. He was Marine Orderly to the Captain of the ship and the Admiral of the Second Fleet.
