Jenny’s Nail Salon

First time in tonight and have nothing but positive things to say. The staff are very nice. Great massage (arms and legs) during mani/​pedi. Great massage chairs. Wonderfully relaxing music. I will definitely be back!

I have used this salon off & on for several years and know that some of the practices used are questionable, not used in more spa type salons & even illegal in most states. So it is my own fault that I continued to occasionally go here. Last visit was 2 months ago & the technician doing my pedicure cut the side of my foot with a razor. I am still doing wound care on it & can have discomfort when walking. Just a warning to all — don’t let them use a razor on you! The people working here are nice but I will never go back.

After reading the good reviews on this place I decided to give it a try. I recently moved and this nail salon is closer to my new house than where I used to go. I should have just driven the few extra miles and gone to my old nail salon. The techs were extremely rude and made me uncomfortable. The man doing my pedicure (while I sat in the chair getting my pedicure I might add) cut my finger badly and tried to act as if nothing happened. After I showed the tech how I wanted my nails, the techs all started talking in a foreign language and were obviously talking about me. To top it off my manicure looks like I did it myself. There is polish all over my finger around my nail and he didn’t let the polish dry before applying the top coat which caused the design on my nail to smear. These things are just a few of the things that went wrong, the rest would make this review entirely too long.
In a nutshell, my manicure looks bad and was not worth the money I spent on it or the stress I was caused while getting it done. I will not be returning to Jenny’s Nails.

So, hearing all the great reviews about this place, I decided to stop in and try them out. Once again in the search for an awesome nail salon, I was disappointed. I went in for a polish change and a shellac manicure. The polish on my toes looks like my 1 year old could have done them, no attention to detail whatsoever, just slapped some polish on my toes. Then, once it came to my manicure, the male technician that was working on me grabbed some cuticle nippers and a cuticle pusher that had been previously used on someone else’s pedicure! I was horrified! I proceeded to tell him that his instruments were dirty and do you know what happened next? He grabbed some alcohol to spray them down instead of preparing them to be sterilized! I then asked him do you not have any instruments sterilized and it was THEN that he got some sterilized instruments! Ladies and gentlemen, just be on the lookout on these technicians doing your nails. I’m writing this review in order to heighten awarenesss and hopefully prevent someone from leaving a so-​called pampering experience with a nail infection.

I have visited this salon several times over the past few months and I have to say they are professional and do a great job. The light music seems to keep the atmosphere very relaxing as a customer, it is nice not to hear the news and random music blaring. In addition, chatter among the employees is kept to a minimum as they focus their attention on their customers.
On my most recent visit, I invited my mother and she absolutely loved it. She has been unable to find a salon in the Cordova area ‘that actually takes the time to give you a «real» pedicure and not just a foot bath with polish.
Prices are definitely reasonable considering the little extra’s they do to set themselves above the competition.

Jenny’s was recommended to me by a friend when I mentioned my unhappiness with a recent manicure. My one stipulation was that I needed a place that not only has great service, but does quality work. (And that give a great foot massage with each pedicure.) She said, from experience, that this place had it all. Boy, did she hit the nail on the head. I will never… never… ever go anywhere else. I mean it.
The location is easily overlook-​able, as it sits back off the road. Regardless it’s well kept, the ladies are friendly, the product selection is good, the price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is comfortable. My nails look gooood. The foot/​leg massage that accompanied my pedicure was awesome. The shoulder/​forearm massage that accompanied my manicure was completely unexpected… and clenched the deal.
