Memphis Pizza Cafe

Food is always delicious, but service can sometimes be spotty. Last night, the service was fantastic, and every member of the staff we dealt with was friendly and quick to help. Great job, guys!

I want to send a special shout-​out to Kristin and Mike, servers at the Memphis Pizza Café-​Collierville, TN. They went above and beyond to make my 4 year old son’s birthday party a success! I called a few days ahead to see if I could reserve a table for my son’s birthday party (on a Monday night). They said they didn’t take reservations, but that it wouldn’t be a problem to get a table for 17 on a Monday night.
Sure enough, when I arrived, they had the tables all put together for the party. That’s when the above and beyond effort started. My son’s birthday party was Star Wars themed, so when they saw me arrive, both Kristin and Mike offered to help me put all the balloons and decorations on the table, which they did! They then offered to put the birthday cake and ice cream in their fridge and asked if they could get a couple of pizzas ready for the kids before they arrived at the restaurant.
By now, I was wowed and inspired by the service and initiative that these two young people showed (without me asking). But the thing that moved me to tears was when my son and his friends walked into the restaurant, they started blasting Star Wars music to go along with the party theme!
I am so incredibly touched that these two young employees would go to such lengths to make my son’s birthday party special! I know Kristin and Mike will go a long way in their careers with this type of attitude and care for their customers! Thank you both so much for making my family’s day, and more importantly, making my son feel so special on his birthday! Kristin and Mike, you’re the real MVPs!

The gluten free pizza wasn’t bad at all. Service wasn’t bad, I was kind of surprised when the waitress set a tray of drinks down on our kids table that was for another unrelated party as she passed them out… a table full of kids! And then later she sat food down on our KIDS table that was for that same unrelated party… nice waitress, just not smart. I noticed the guy from the other table kept eyeing ‘their’ food on our kids table as the waitress was running back and forth delivering their food. Thankful for decent gf pizza though!

Every time I have been I was pregnant with my daughter. I had gestational diabetes. I craved pizza but pizza always sent my numbers soaring.
I was taken by family members to Memphis Pizza Café. I thought a little bit of cheating on my diet would be okay. I ordered the meat pizza. It was delicious. Afterwards I found that my blood sugar levels were perfect. Yay! I could actually eat something I was craving and it was allowed. I believe it is because there is a huge amount of meat (protein). They don’t skimp on toppings.
Every time I have been was just as delicious as the last.

This is for collierville. Where else can you get half a sandwich and a slice of pizza for lunch? Maybe another Memphis pizza café! Hey meat! This is the most loaded meat pizza you can possibly get. And one slice is plenty if you get a half sandwich or a different slice. Half of an Italian sandwich is a good size considering some whole sandwiches I’ve had elsewhere. And it came with chips. Memphis pizza collierville, you hit the spot.
The sandwich was toasted just right and the meat in it had a wonderful smoked flavor. The pizza is just– well good. Tea, slice, half sandwich, chips, and tax– still under ten bucks

Pizza is good… But restaurant is filthy. Stains on every surface of wall. Bathroom looks like a port-​a-​potty its so disgusting. Staff could be heard cussing from the kitchen while we were in restaurant. We always love this place but get it together Memphis Pizza-​Collierville. It’s always been a dive but come on— If I don’t want to touch the surfaces in the restaurant because everything is dirty— what does that say for the food?!! In impressed by today’s visit.

I think Memphis Pizza Café suffers from being an established brand. It is just a pizza joint. Nothing really special. We tried the alternative and the BBQ. Both were fine. Nice crispy thin crust and average toppings. In my opinion they could improve by adding all of the new local beers. That would draw a new crowd. A few new menu items would wake up the regulars.

Reasonably priced, generous with toppings, good service and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s nothing fancy, but I enjoyed it.

While I don’t have anything against teenage servers I must say that every time I visited this place its been a brand new group of young kids that don’t really have a clue as to what they’re doing. I do not think that Memphis Pizza Café is a great quality food nor is it a great value. Their menu is limited and their portions are limited and ultimately Services Limited. I just don’t think it’s worth the trip for the money. I’ve given it two tries, and I’m done. Sorry

Slices are small, service is slow. Just one of those places I wasn’t really impressed with.

The pizza here has very thin crispy crust. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza: the pineapple chunks were big and the ham was salty. Service was good. They have free wifi, you just have to ask and they’ll bring you the password.

If u like chain thin crust pizza this is a small step above. Price is reasonable and food is always consistent. Great beer selection, but service has never been strong. Very midtown oriented staff and I would imagine a great place to meet a pot dealer if ur new to town.

I went into Memphis Pizza Café expecting mediocre food, based on what I’d been told by other people.
When I sat down, I immediately zoned in on the chef salad, but I also wanted to try out the pizza. I was not disappointed.
The chef salad, asside from coming with tons of onions, black olives, and bell peppers, was great. And I’m not saying it was bad for coming with those, the more toppings on my salads, the better. Heads up, though, I’m not sure if I rushed through the menu or if they weren’t listed. so just make sure before you order.
The pizza, salad, and ranch dressing all tasted great.
The service, was slow, but they were busy so I will give them that. A group of 5 of us were in an out in about an hour.

This Memphis Pizza Café is one of the friendliest I have ever visited. I eat there usually once a week. We have dined in and taken out and both experiences have been great. Their pizza is always super fresh and the best tasting around. Their greek salad is the best greek salad around. Not only is their food great, but their service is even greater. We are always greeted with a smile, and everyone goes out of their way to satisfy you.
I did have 1 not so great experience there, but it was not bad enought to make me dislike the place. I arrived to pick up 2 medium pizzas. There were 2 girls in front of me picking up a large order, and in the process, something got mixed up with their order. While fixing their order, my order was messed up. I arrived home with my 2 boxes of pizza to discover one of the boxes was COMPLETELY EMPTY! I went back with my empty box, they gave me a fresh pizza and a refund without question. No hard no foul. Mistakes happen. I still LOVE this place.

Try it! The crust is great. & their salads are good too.

Just as bad as that Venice Pizza Co. place. Memphis Pizza Café seems to have some sort of cult following, I am assuming said followers are from and have never left the Memphis area, with no idea what pizza is/​should be. The service is poor too.

I really don’t know why people like this place so much. The pizza is OK, but the service is S — L — O — W.
