First, let’s talk about the food. The pizzas we got were piping hot but really, they smell better than they taste. They weren’t bad; they just had virtually no flavor. Nothing special, and frankly, a tad pricey for being so bland. My other problem was with the means of payment. I ordered online and submitted, but somewhere in submission, the order software erased all of my delivery information and defaulted to a carry out order. I’m tech savvy, and this app took me nearly 30 minutes to order between hopping between options and different menu items. Regardless, I noticed and called them immediately. The kid on the phone changed this to delivery but then called me back saying he needed my credit card to add the delivery fee. Now, I’m in a business that does delivery. Had we already had a customer with some hassle, who had to call in, hung up and then you have to call him/her back for credit card info for a delivery fee… yeah, I probably would’ve said forget the delivery fee this time. Didn’t happen, and that’s okay. I have no issue paying for what I get. However, the kid, apparently, charged the whole thing to my credit card, and without realizing this had happened, I gave the driver cash to pay for it. Now, through all this, we got this situation settled, and my boyfriend went to pick up my cash the following week. However, my money sat there for two-to-three days. I had to call them when I contacted my credit card company about the TWO charges on my credit card — once a partial payment of $ 10 — which is what I had intended all along – through the app and once for the WHOLE amount… AND they had my cash. When I called Sunday to talk to someone, I was told no manager would be in until Monday at 11 but he would leave a message to call me. Well, my lunch hour rolled around — well after 1:30PM, and the charges were still there, they still had my money, and I’d still not heard from a manager. So… I called my credit card company. They 3-way’d in the manager, and we talked about it. He said he was confused why I’d sent cash, but instead of calling me, they just stuck it in the safe… for three days. They had my number on my order, in the computer, and to call me back to charge me for delivery, but no one thought to call when the driver returned with cash, and they were confused? Regardless, we picked up the cash, and the partial payment wasn’t charged to my card after all was worked out. Being in business, myself, I can absolutely appreciate them handling a sticky situation professionally. That is what got the extra two stars. The lack of action regarding that issue and the not-so-hot pizza only garnered the one.

First the 4 stars is for the service and the Bruno(steak and cheese) sub but not for pizza. Sub is delicious but won’t drive from Maryville just for that sub. Sausage pizza I actually threw away. I never throw away any pizza. Didn’t do anything for me. It was fresh, crust flavors ok, but just not much flavor. Went on suggestion but if I return will be for sub. That being said, they had a number of walk ins and lots of calls for food.
