Empty shelves, the changing rooms look like a tornado hit, disorganized clearance aisles, self check out registers are generally out of order, just a miserable shopping experience.

The price on the shelf is less than the price at the register! always check. BUT the returns area line is long/slow. If they are screwing each of us out of a nickle on each transaction… that is alot of nickles. (update: they did it again. difference of –20 cents for a bunch of greens. again, it took TEN minutes to get my change from the snarling worker who neither apologize for the theft nor than ked me for bringing it to light.) having but one choice is NEVER Good. and no, I WILLNOT use the robot cashier.

This Walmart is the worst. They have absolutely not one single person there that cares about customer service. If you have a problem thats just too bad because they dont care and no desire to help you. GOODLUCK

Even though this is the place I shop damn near exclusively for most of my household needs, I am rating it low because of the fact they NEVER have enough registers open, especially during peak shopping times and holiday seasons. Somehow they are constantly out of a lot of the stuff I need, even though I see the shady folk stocking on any night I have been in there. Wood River Walmart has got it going on, this one does NOT! It’s too bad this is the closest one to me.

Since the anti-Walmart forces put a stop to the proposed Cottonwood expansion, this unit continues to be the SUPER Walmart closest to E’ville /Glen Carbon. Yes, I think I’ve heard most of the arguments against the Arkansas Behemoth, but I still like to shop here. My latest discovery: mussels in the freezer case, two one-pound bags per pack @ $ 4.50, microwave 4 – 6 minutes, add some chopped tomato, red pepper, balsamic vinegar and salt, and you have a very tasty snack. Yes, I know they’re not the same as fresh, but they’re pretty darn good. If you don’t believe it, don’t buy them. That way, there will be more for me!
