Don’t eat here between 2 to 3:30 a.m. when the bar/​clubbing hordes hit the fan and the kitchen gets too busy to care their slop is undercooked and the waitstaff can’t get your order right. Good people-​watching though.

I came in completely sober and ordered 1 beer which they didn’t even fill all the way. The waitress who took my order went and told the manager «I don’t know about this guy» so then I tried to order food and 1 more beer. The manager came and said I’ve had too much and that they won’t serve me anymore… haha I was sober. So then this manager guy takes me to his boss who was only trying to back him up, in front of everyone and embarrasses me. I just left. The waitress basically went off my looks and discriminated me. Maybe she thought I was drunk because we couldn’t communicate well while I was trying to place my order because she couldn’t speak any english!

Service is so bad here… Literally kept us waiting for about an hour before we were seated. When we were finally seated it wasn’t even the employees of the restaurant it was the security from the casino.
One of the owner ladies came to take our order without a notepad or pen… After trying to flag someone down for 20 minutes. (Mind you we had 6 ppl with us) but she insisted that she would get it right…
Sure enough she didn’t.
Came out with food that wasn’t ours and the ones we did order came out wrong too.
By this time, I was just hungry and wanted out.
I’ve had much better Tocino elsewhere. Longanisa was okay.
I wouldn’t come back. Not worth the hassle.

Since I moved to the other side of the Bay. I have to say, this is one of the BEST paying casino. Their bonus rocks!!! Though it changes its hours or schedule. They have a variety of them such as:
High Hands: from $ 100 to $ 300
Runs from Monday — Thursday 10am to 2pm, 3pm to 6pm.
A’s cracked — $ 150
Oh ya! If you’re hungry? They have an outstanding variety of entrées (comfort food, Chinese, Italian and FILIPINO FOOD).
Most of the players are very cool and polite. Not to mention the old timers are fun to play with it. There’s some laughter with silly jokes.

The food here is great so imagine coming super intoxicated! The garlic pancit is always a go to dish here. The longanisa plate never disappoints as well. I love coming here and being around my people I feel so at home. The service is always prompt as well. Not to mention theyre open late night.

NO MATTER HOW DRUNK YOU ARE AND NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU ARE CRAVING PHO, DO NOT GET THE DAC BIET. $ 13.95 for a bland bowl of noodles with so many unappetizing pieces of tendon and 5 – 6 slices of overcooked beef. You can NEVER justify the amount. Second time getting it and it’s the worse mistake ever. Also, 2 thin ass pieces of bacon for $ 3.95. Oh hell no. Not worth the quantity for the amount that you pay. And for a place that advocates that they’re open 24÷7… Are you kidding me? You open until 5am… How’s that ²⁴⁄₇? Other than those cons, the server was so nice when we arrived 5 minutes before the kitchen closed. I gave an extra star just for her.
You are better off going to Denny’s or ihop for the drunchies! They are truly open for ²⁴⁄₇ and the price you pay justifies for the amount that you get. And the food tastes like 100x better.

Not really a fan of this one. It’s ²⁴⁄₇ and they serve a variety of different cuisines. One of the more popular choices is Filipino. My friends rave about this place and how it’s so good and all these positive things, but as soon as I opened the menu I’m in shock. Everything seemed to be in the 12 dollar or higher. Now I am a big fan of breakfast, and I love a Filipino one. But for the price that they are selling theirs, I can go to store and buy everything, cook it myself and feed 2 or 3 people myself, and it would taste better. Longoniza and Ticino are inexpensive meats, so for the portion that they serve and the price, it’s a complete rip off. They serve garlic rice with it but it doesn’t even taste like garlic.
So all in all, I’m very disappointed. For the food to be overpriced, the taste is underwhelming. The service is alright, don’t expect much hospitality.

If could, I would give Lucky Chance’s Café Colma, NO STARS! They don’t deserve that shit. Tonight, we went there, and our server even the supervisor or manager was just sitting there as if they aren’t on the clock. To top it off. I had my hand raised for a good 2 minutes, another server saw my hand and just said to another server «their server is there sitting down». LIKE LADY OF YOU SEE MU HAND RAISED, acknowledge me. Or go get my server.
My server finally sees me because someone told her I had my hand raised so she starts to walk towards me, and when she’s like a foot away from me, she turns around to help a group of guys that JUST walking and starts joking and laughing, as if I didn’t need any help. So of course the SERVER in me had to to come out, so I snapped my fingers and said «hello, don’t see I need FREAKING help?! WTF?!» (I’m usually as nice as possible to my servers because I know how it is, especially if you’re having a bad day and not making tips… But this girl wasn’t having a bad day, she was just too into flirting, laughing, and socializing BTW).
So as my party is ready to go, I have my hand raised and I had to dry a check in the air with my fingers so she yells across the restaurant, «you want the check?!» (YESS I DO!). Then she finally delivers our check, and I then asked her for a to go box, so I turned to look and see if she’s bringing my to go box, and there she goes again, talking, laughing, and so on. So of course, being the total meanie that I am, I give her a dirty look, paid for our food, and didn’t tip that lazy butt a single dollar.

So you want to play cards at 6AM, get some amazing Asian food, grab a drink and go back to taking your neighbors money? Then this place is for you. It’s next to a cemetery and quite a cool little business. I was lucky enough to have a Philippine friend take me here or I would have never discovered it. Oh yeah and they are open ²⁴⁄₇!

What a shame! Food was good! Service it sucks! Our server was a joke! Not to recommend at all! I work for foreign cinema! I know about restaurants, and this make me angry! Cuz if some body don’t like what they do they should get the hell out off! Instead of making people angry and not enjoy the meal! Not happy At all!

Great spot to play as much poker as your heart desires… I’ve finished 10^th or better in a few tourneys. Also have a bar and decent food for a place open ²⁴⁄₇. They also do neck and back massages for anyone that wants or needs one.
Everyone should try and attend the annual poker tournament for Daly City Fire Dept (typically in March or April)…it’s for a great cause and only a nominal buy-​in ($ 100 or less)!

I’m never disappointed with the filipino food, I love that they’re open 24 hours too just in case I have my cravings. My family and I always come here and enjoy the filipino food options. My favorite is the Longanisa and bangus sinigang which are always consistent with their cooking.
The reason for my 4 stars is because of the customer service. Every once and awhile we tend to get a sour host/​server. I don’t mind because I work in the service industry as well and they are open 24 hours but please that should be no excuse to be giving rude glares and a sour attitude.
Other than that this place is great. We never really got to the casino just to the diner.

Slowest service ever. Took us an hour to get seated. we got there around 1:30AM and didn’t get seated until around 3. and then I had to request a server to help us because we sat there waiting for about 15 minutes. Food came out terribly slow. Tradition is to not eat until everyone got their food — so we sat there until about 4:00AM.
Food-​wise, 5 stars. Great food! Customer service-​wise, 1 star. I could probably get quicker service at the DMV.

The food here is pretty good. I’ve been here countless of times after the clubs in San Francisco. Its a perfect place to sober up and eat some food and hang out with friends after the club.
SERVICE:
The service here is okay. Its good or bad depending on the server. I realized that servers tend to be great at the front of the restaurant and gets worst as you walk in.
FOOD:
Any of the Silogs are good. A Silog is a rice place with your choice of Filipino Meat with veggies and garlic rice. A fried egg tops off the dish.
1. Longsiliog (Filipino version of Chinese Sausage)
2. Tapsilog (Marinated pork)
3. Bansilog (Fried Bangus fish*)
The other dishes are okay. I try to stray away from the chinese food because the quality isnt great. Its taste like chinese fast food…
LUCKY CHANCES is also a casino… but I don’t gamble.

How do I not have a review for this place yet?!
Well, here it is. This has been my «go to» place for years. .. shieeet, prolly over a decade! Back in my clubbing days, we’d head here after since we knew there would still be a chance to see someone, or to find that one person you were dancing with but didn’t get their number, or to just get more time to sober up before our long drive back to Salinas. Ahhh, the good ol’ days. Fun times (don’t judge me! Lol) or more like my young and dumb days! But damn, it was hella fun! :) Clubbing 3x a week and driving an hour and a half to get there was cray. .. but that’s one of the reasons I don’t mind driving up and down the bay. I’m used to it! Now, I find myself coming to this spot after a Giants game or if I’m already up north and just feel like having cheap Filipino comfort food.
Open 24 hrs, you honestly don’t get the best service here. As for food, I only get their Filipino breakfasts here although they have a range of other foods. Its not the best, but its not the worst either. There is usually a wait at night. .. but that usually doesn’t stop us from coming here. This is just one of those spots that we keep coming back to since its been around for years! And fosho. .. it beats going to Denny’s!

I don’t know how «Lucky» or what is the «Chances» the gamblers in here win any type of money. In fact the few times I watched people play, it looked like a group of real degenerate gamblers losing their kid’s college fund. But this Unilocal isn’t about the gambling but the food.
I came here on Memorial Day. The restaurant was full but by no means packed so there was no wait for a booth to sit. First thing I noticed is how extensive the menu is. Everything from Chinese food, American, Filipino, even the most picky eater will find something that they will like.
Here’s what my table ordered:
Chicken fried steak breakfast: this was my coworkers dish, he was unhappy with his selection and said he wouldn’t order it again. My guess is to stick with the Asian cuisine.
Longanisa Scramble: this was my breakfast. I substituted the hash browns for garlic rice. I really liked the combination of garlic rice, sliced longanisa with bell peppers, onions and eggs along with toast. I would definitely recommend this dish and I would order it again.
Beef Chow Fun: Lucky Chances’ version is mediocre. It’s edible but they go way too heavy on the bean sprouts and lack of flavor made the dish lackluster.
Beef stew: my other coworker ordered the Filipino beef stew, I forget the exact name but it was delicious. I took a bite of his and I was impressed. It comes in a generous portion too.
The service was pleasant. Atmosphere is comfortable and casual. So even if you’re a non gambler like myself, Chances getting a good Filipino dish are high and being lucky isn’t necessary.

Drunk or sober. This place is really good! You just have to know what to order!
I’ve been here a couple of times and the «silogs» are the items you have to try! I always switch off between the longsilog, which is longanisa, sunny side up eggs, and garlic rice! Or the tocilog, which is tocino, sunny side up eggs, and garlic rice. Longanisa is a Spanish style sausage, which is similar to a chorizo. And tocino is Spanish style bacon, which is made from pork belly. Yum!
This place is ²⁴⁄₇. But I don’t recommend coming in around 2am or later. That’s when all the drunk kids come in after the clubs. Which will lead to a long wait and drunk and obnoxious kids.

I’ve been here about times or more and I’ve decided to finally write this review.
The only reason I come here is to play 1−1−2 no limit holdem with my cousin.
First of all, no smoke, you can’t beat that folks, knowing that I’m not getting cancer while gambling my life savings away (jk on the life savings) makes me feel a little better about gambling.
Secondly, plenty of parking, if upstairs is full, go downstairs, if downstairs is full, go across the street, however, I’ve never had to park across the street before.
Dealers: Most of them are funny, one time while I was singing because someone mentioned diamonds, she told me to please don’t quit my day job. Everyone LoLed. After another time, I was smiling like a idiot hitting the nuts and going all in and the dealer told me to go home, look at a mirror, and practice my poker face.
Players: All the times I’ve went, I’ve had a good time, all the players are nice except every now and then, but 90% of the players are fun/​talkative.
Blackjack: $ 1 per game, continuous shuffle, just don’t. I’ve never won a single time I played BJ here.
Food: Their food is very well priced and good for casino food. I almost always order something after winning a big hand here.

I’m not giving Lucky Chances 4 stars because I think the food is out of this world (which it is most definitely not), but when you’re buzzin at 2 a.m. and need your pilipino food fix away from home, this is the place to go. I’ve never tried hitting up the casino, but maybe next time ;)
