Le Pough’s Bar-B-Que Real Southern Barbecue with a backyard feel appeal. We are the real «Cookout!» We have been in business in Central Virginia since 2011 and a contractor for the Army and Air Force Exchange System (AAFES) since 2012. We specialize in «pulled pork» barbecue and «pork spare ribs» where we slow grill with direct heat/fire using hickory and oak wood for added flavor. We offer a choice of mild or spicy barbecue which is a mustard base sauce. Dine in or carry out @ this location or visit us for lunch at 1400 Mahone Dr., Fort Lee, VA (PXTRA) adjacent to the U.S. Post Office.
History
Established in 2011.
Le’ Pough’s BBQ began as an inexpensive mobile grill with chicken and ribs serving as an option for college students to grab a quick inexpensive «sammich» for lunch during lunch or breaks. We have grown to two self contained units (trailers) at Fort Lee where we serve up to 200 servicemen/women along with government and civilian employees. We have a new permanent location at 16 801 Jefferson Davis Highway, South Chesterfield, VA 23 834.

As a graduate student of Theological studies I began grilling as a means of extra income. In the academic environment around VUU and VCU this quickly became greater than a «hustle.» With the pursuit of perfection and always being concerned about presentation, I have obtained a PhD. in customer service (always concerned about the needs of the customer). My intention is to create an unforgettable dining experience and transform a «hustle» into a major Corporation.
