We specialize in fresh, homemade gourmet ice cream in gelato. All of our flavors are made on-​site in our store. We squeeze fresh limes and lemons for our citrus flavors and fresh, whole, locally roasted nuts for all our nut flavors. We make our own fudge and chocolate melts in-​house. Our coffee flavors are created using locally roasted Umpire Estate coffee. All of our milk and cream is organic and hormone free, and we have numerous outstanding gluten-​free and dairy-​free flavors. All of our ingredients are the highest quality, and we never, ever short you on the mix-​ins. If the flavor says oreo, you can bet you boots that there are enough hand-​crushed oreos in there to choke a camel. We are a Colorado-​born business that is locally and family owned. We have received numerous awards in Colorado, and Forbes Traveller recently named Glacier one of the top 10 best ice cream store in America. Try us out! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

History

Established in 2010.

Glacier is a Colorado brand, founded originally in Boulder Colorado. In July 2010, our new store opened in Colorado Springs, bringing the same award-​winning ice cream and gelato to the Pikes Peak area. We are locally-​owned by the descendants of a pioneer farm family that emigrated to Colorado from the Netherlands. We are proud to honor that tradition by featuring farm-​fresh seasonal flavors like Rocky Ford Cantaloupe and Palisade Peach. We also carry teas from Aspen, locally roasted coffee, locally made candy, and more great local products.
