Great treat. Family enjoyed the ice cream. Yummy cinnamon touched waffle cones. Nice hard working staff. Lots of great homemade touches!

Small business ice cream place. The ice cream had a tasteful creamy texture. Very small place to eat, but I’d definitely order there again. We all liked the flavors we got.

I always stop in for some Josh & John’s when I’m in my home town. Line gets long on weekends or holidays so beware. This is more of an old-​fashioned date or hang out place than a quick ice-​cream grab. Creative flavors and homemade taste. A must-​try!

Nice people, yummy waffle cones but the mint chocolate chip had neither much mint or any chocolate chips. The coffee was awesome and a 93 cent cup for little ones is awesome!

Yummy fresh ice cream! Can’t go wrong I the summer or winter! Extremely friendly staff and great atmosphere. Everyone should check it out and they’re open late!

The ice cream is really good and the staff is always friendly. We typically stop here when passing through the Springs, no matter how cold it is outside. As a matter of fact, their punch card points system gives you more punches the colder/​snowier it is outside! Pretty cool. I had to take away a star because the last time we were in there, we wanted a hand packed pint so it would be fresh (it takes us a couple of weeks to eat it). My wife specifically asked for a hand pack fearing the dreaded freezer burn/​refreeze from pints already in the cooler. When she came back from the restroom, her pint was already bagged/​rung up. My wife asked if it was newly scooped and the clerk indicated she didn’t need to scoop it because there was already one in the cooler ready to go. Begrudgingly, we took it home to later find, in fact, that it had been refrozen and had some frost in it. It’s not a huge deal, we could have made an issue out of it while there, but we love the place and didn’t want to cause any issues and be remembered as «those customers.»

Well, It’s ice cream. Specifically, it’s Josh and John’s ice cream. What else do you really need to know? You want ice cream. You want it now! I don’t know who those two guys are, but they’re selling ice cream. Seriously, don’t make this more complicated than it has to be. Josh & John’s sells Ice Cream.
Even cooler than the ice cream was the service. Waiting in the 20-​minute line was no fun, but once we hit the counter and tried some samples, I was hooked. Mostly because those samples were ice cream, but also because of the happiness elves serving up the ice cream.
Olivia Z. got Green Tea Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone while I went with two scoops in a cup: Chocolate Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Almond Joy Ice Cream. Both brought joy to my ice cream dreams.
With cool service, fun flavors, and, wait for it, … ice cream, it’s easy to be a fan of Josh & John’s Ice Cream Shop.

Can I give Josh & John’s 6 stars? This place is THE BEST! Their ice cream is phenomenal and their flavors are so fun, but what really sets them apart is that their waffle cones. They’re fresh and delicious and I just am totally obsessed with them. Josh & John’s is my fave and I can’t wait to return to the Springs to eat some more! Also, their punch cards are great and I filled one up in a weekend. So fun.

I got to visit Josh and John’s this past summer on our way through town. Parking was a bit hard at the time because roads were closed off due to a special event. My hubby was nice enough to drop me off and search for parking on his own. This ended up being a good thing because there was a bit of a line. I guess they don’t plan on it being too busy at 2:30p on a Tuesday, because half the time I was waiting there was only one girl taking orders and ringing people up.
I did quite a bit of sampling before making my selection. I have to say that only one stood out to me, but it was pretty awesome! Salted Peanut Butter! I loved it and it’s totally worth another visit!

We had to have dessert after a great meal at the Rabbit Hole. We had Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. Both were really good. Super good!

Family friendly and they make their own ice cream, friendly staff snd they have little pints you can take on the go and they do cakes as well. Small seating area outside and they also have a chalk area for the kiddos

Go for the ice cream. Stay for the… ice cream. This timeless cornerstone of The Springs is an absolute go-​see. Teenagers should awkwardly take their date there, husbands should take their wives after a movie at the Peak. Same for people who aren’t married. Locals, take your house guests before they start getting on your nerves.
The ice cream is so darn good it would be worth going diabetic for, but you won’t need to because it’s just the right amount of sweet and not the over grossly sweet of store bought. Their flavors are bountiful and sherbet is divine.
The kids will enjoy seeing the way the ice cream is made, even I remember a field trip waaayyyy back when and still enjoy going to get ice cream there.
The prices are fantastic and the friendly and jovial staff always pleases. The décor is spot on with cute picnic tables and a small patio to people watch should one want to while slurping a cone of creamy heaven.

This is terrific homemade ice cream. It’s a tad expensive. The employees are nice and it’s clean. Not very wheelchair friendly but that because there is no access in the front of the store to a handicap spot.

So we went here on a recommendation of a friend. Sadly — They seemed a bit overpriced for the tiny little scoop that we received. Not sure how 2 little dishes of ice cream came in at $ 11 bucks — but oh well. The ice cream was pretty decent — but honestly nothing to write home about. To be fair they were in the middle of a massive defrost and most of their crew were working on the freezers — but I just don’t think I’ll be back again. I’ll go FroYo or something and get more for the money and more toppings to choose from. 8-(

I’m glad we found this place.
Three of us came in just before they closed, and all of the employees there were very friendly and helpful.
The girl who took care of us even took the time to explain the not-​obvious flavors, give us recommendations, offered samples without us asking, and generally was awesome.
I had a scoop of the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and the SwitchBack coffee ice cream. SwitchBack is a local coffee brewer you can find a few minutes’ drive from this place. The ice cream is great.
The space itself is also huge.
Definitely check this place out.

Sweet, creamy, fatty, goodness. Goo. It’s great ice cream. I’m not a Unilocal novelist, so there’s not much more can say. If you want good ass ice cream, go here. And plan on waiting a bit.

I had some of the best ice cream in my life here… and I’m a fanatic for ice cream, so I usually get it everywhere I go. They have several standard flavors, but my personal favorite are the specialty flavors that they rotate fairly regulalrly. They carry three-​four specialty flavors at a time, which vary as widely as Josh and John’s imaginations. I once saw a rum and coke variety with a word of caution that you will get «waisted» before you ever would get wasted. My favorite so far is their rendition of a grasshopper mixed with their colorado cookies and cream. Whatever you deem the best, I recommend you get a punch card. If you live in the area and have a sweet tooth, you will rack up those 10 punches fast. Oh, and study up on your trivia before heading out: extra punches for getting the question of the day right.

I love supporting the local guys, and Josh and John’s is on point. I ordered the regular size Java Jolt, and not only was it absolutely delicious, the serving size was HUGE; so much so that I couldn’t finish it all. Next time I’ll be ordering the tiny size! Overall awesome place… Easy to get to, and great ice cream.

Big venue, 3 types of cones, and tons of flavors! I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough, but I wish I had followed my heart and gone with the mocha java jolt. I sampled it and it was perfectly creamy and delicious, with a solid coffee flavor.
