Not terrible, not superb. I ordered egg rolls, wonton soup, crab wontons, and chicken w/broccoli. Egg rolls were nice and crunchy outside but the filling was a weird mushy texture I am not used to. Wonton soup tastes like hot water. Wontons were pretty good, just a little over cooked. And my chicken with broccoli was enough to scratch my itch for veggies and lean protein– it wasn’t too saucy, but not super flavorful. The steamed rice that came with it was actually my favorite part of the meal. Tasted fresh and light. All in all, quick delivery and satisfactory to make hotel living not seem that bad.

Looks can be deceiving, trust me. You have to go in or take out because the food is amazing. My kids were like, «mom, you sure?» They looked at the outside of the restaurant before trying the food but once they tried it, they loved. Even my picky eater, actually ate all her food.

Ble. I’m not sure why this place is rated so high. Everything was either gross or bland or both. My lemon chicken was just about all gristle which made it nearly inedible. My moms sweet and sour was ok. Lots of breading comparatively to chicken. The fried rice was bland. The only thing that was slightly edible was the hot and sour soup. I’ll just go to Panda Express next time. This is the first time and I have no desire to return.

This is our normal takeout restaurant, but quality has definitely been slipping. My normal order is sweet and sour shrimp, but the past two times I ordered it, its had a strong mold flavor. Pan fried noodles have gone down in quality, but egg drop soup is always great!

Was offered some pretty good delivery from Mandarin Chef Called around 345, delivery got to me about 4:30 Wanted the Mongolian Mix, the Chef on the phone said I should get the Sesame Chicken instead. «…ummm, okay. I guess give me the Sesame.» :) Also tried the fried chicken and vegi egg rolls upon his recomendation. The delivery driver was kind upon delivery. «You got the best in town» The egg roll was, okay… Not the best, but handrolled The fried chicken was the kicker. Better than KFC. Hand breaded on site. Not frozen. Very Hot(zero spice) and crunchy! The Sesame chicken was the let down. Laying on a bed of Amazing cabbage and slaw, the sesame chicken was overall not appetizing. I did enjoy the first few smaller crispy pieces, however most of it was ¼ breast pieces, pretty fatty, and not well cooked Or breaded. I can see where it could be amazing, however mine was so-so. Came with a side of fried rice in a to-go box. Very Very dry. Zero flavor. Had to use the sweet n sour to taste anything from my forkfulls. Overall, I thought it was quite worth what I paid. Free Delivery to my hotel. Fresh, homemade food that More than Filled Me Up.

Excellent service! Pretty clean for a hole in the wall joint. Fast service as well. No troubles speaking English either. Egg drop soup was pretty good. Pretty food presentation for a small place. General Tso’s was good. Would recommend if you are in the airport area.

By the reviews, I ordered the orange chicken. It was great: crispy and real orange peel in the sauce. The dinner portion was so big, I took some home to my hubby. I’m back again, because he wants his own order of orange chicken. I’m trying their #1 sesame chicken. I also ordered an old favorite, Mongolian beef to get some free cheese wonton(with $ 25+ order) which should be yummy. Woot! My order is ready quickly!

Best orange chicken in town! I have been visiting this location for almost 4 years and never fails to amaze me. The interior is a little run down, but don’t be fooled by looks. I’ve tried about half of their menu. Some of my favorites include the beef and broccoli, the shrimp stir fry and the orange chicken. The portions are big and they have good prices. Delivery is an option as well if you are within the grid area. Unfortunately I moved so it’s no longer an option for me. But when I lived around, delivery was fast and my food was always hot! In addition, The service is always warm and welcoming, I almost feel like family when I go in there! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food.

I don’t know how this place got 4 star rating. The food was not all that great, but server was friendly. We heard dog barking in the back. I’m not sure that you supposed to have pet at a restaurant.

My go-to for Chinese food especially on lazy days when I don’t feel like leaving the comfort of my own home. Delivery is quick and the food is yummy, not to mention the portion sizes are massive!

Not the cutest place on the inside, but the food is great and the service is awesome. I like the Szechuan beef and kung pao chicken. Crab cheese rangoons don’t have as much filling as they could though! ;] Delivery is free, which is super cool, and they usually have deals for free appetizers if you spend a certain amount. They also have good lunch specials. Definitely worth trying. :)

Mandrin Chef, the best sesame chicken in the Springs!!! I’ve been here since 95 and have yet to find anything that’s even close. Their fried chicken wings are also the bomb! Now I won’t pretend that it’s the most visually appealing, unlike the fancy overpriced ones trying to impress and be authentic looking. It is somewhat a «hole in the wall». But what it lacks in decoration, is nothing compared to how wonderful this dish is. The exterior is crispy, not soggy, and the chicken is tender and juicy, not over cooked. The sauce is perfect, the way sesame chicken should taste. So if you like good sesame chicken and don’t mind the look of the restaurant, then this is the place. And if you can’t, they have take out and delivery. If you can find something better let me know! Rich.
