History

Established in 1974.

Michael Matthews started his CPA practice in Colorado Springs serving the local businesses and individuals. Ed Wilcox then joined the firm in 1999 and Matthews & Wilcox, LLC grew out of this partnership. We are a full service income tax based firm that prides ourselves on providing professional, personalized services to our clients on a wide array of business and income tax topics.

Business Owner

Ed Wilcox relocated to Colorado Springs in1988 and graduated College from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. He is a CPA and is a member of the AICPA and the Colorado State Board of Accountancy. He is the managing partner of Matthews & Wilcox, LLC.
