Ruffing It: Natural Living for Pets provides natural pet supplies, including foods, beds, collars, leashes, cleaning supplies, treats and chews, among other things. We have a knowledgeable staff that can help you with any questions you might have.

History

Established in 2010.

I opened the first store at Stetson Hills and Powers in 2010. In 2015 I decided to expand and thought that the south side of town needed an all natural pet option. I opened the S. Academy location in Jan of 2015.

I have always loved animals, and while I originally thought I wanted to be a vet, I decided to channel my energies into helping them nutritionally instead. I went to college and got a biology degree, and then detoured to work in college admission for 12 years. during this time, I volunteered in dog rescue and met many unhealthy dogs that I tried my best to help. Many of them just needed a better diet. By helping them and helping my fellow volunteers, I realized that more people needed this help. I finally decided to «be my own boss» and opened my store. I love Colorado Springs and it’s dog friendly attitude.

After searching for a great groomer that will groom cats, I found Ruffing It. I was able to get an appointment for the next evening after I called. Sydney gave my longhaired cat an amazing fox cut. She’s quick, professional, and cares about your pet. I will absolutely be using her and Ruffing It as my go-​to location for pet supplies and grooming services. Highly recommend!

I love this place! I was on the hunt for a place to buy nutritious food and delicious treats for my dog. I stumbled upon Ruffin’ It and I’m so grateful I did! The staff is always super friendly and this place has an awesome selection of both food and treats. At the least, check it out and grab a few treats for your companion. My dog loves the alligator sticks!

The staff is always very helpful and very knowledgeable. they carry the best all natural products for my puppy. They had the cutest harness that my puppy absolutely loves. This store even has military discount frequent buyer rewards and there’s also the cutest dogs the staff have I love being greeted by them. It’s a very relaxed caring atmosphere and the prices are amazing I always come home and my dogs are very happy with the purchases I made from Ruffing it :)

Such an amazing natural food store for pets! We don’t have any of these stores on the south end of town and its such a wonderful connivence. The variety of treats, foods, specialty snacks and health care is surprising. We shop at several stores around town and this has become our preferred and favorite. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and was able to give us very helpful advice when our dog became sick. They also have samples for all their per food, so it’s nice to shop around if you are thinking about changing brands

Awesome pet store. They carry healthy treats and food for your cat and dog and a bunch of quality toys. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly.
