Meet the Business Owner

Kari S.

Business Owner

Kari is an Iowa native and UNI graduate, holding degrees in Elementary and Middle School Education. She minored in mathematics and has endorsements in all curriculum areas. She taught for 5 years before joining Sylvan as an Educational Director. Two years later, she and her husband took ownership of the business after the passing of her father-​in-​law.

The best part of Kari’s day is hearing about the success that her students are making in school and in their everyday activities. As the world becomes increasingly competitive, we are thrilled to be giving more students the opportunity to excel!
