The Retired Enlisted Association Chapter 1

I really enjoy coming here from time to time since I’m a retired veteran. The people are friendly and the staff is as well. There is always room for improvement when it comes to the food they serve but for the most part it’s good.

Very nice evening out. We are both military veterans so we went to an event and now we are involved in all kinds of things here. But first we just went and had a drink in their bar and then went to dinner. You do not have to be retired, the public is welcome at their events and for lunch and bingo and such. It is a nice local spot. We just do not always want to be downtown or on the Powers corridor in chain places. Fun place to take a group and just hang out. Check their schedule and if you are a veteran-​join! You will like it. Nice to talk to people who have traveled to places you have been to as well.

My wife and I recently enjoyed an inexpensive but very good meal last Friday evening at the TREA Chapter 1 facility. You can also purchase inexpensive drinks at the bar and play darts or enjoy Karaōke. The facility holds events for the membership and offers space for associations to meet. For bingo fans they host bingo four days a week and in April will expand their bingo offerings to Saturdays. For those that do not know, this chapter is the first in the nation for an association that on the national level has represented the military interest in Washington DC for five decades.
The Retired Enlisted Association has recently changed their charter to accept active duty enlisted personnel and officers. You no longer have to be a retired member of the military to join the association. Enlisted, officers, and military retirees and their spouses should consider joining and enjoying the use of the facilities.

More bang for your buck. Great food, great beer. No one in town can beat their prices. I hear you don’t need to be retired military… Active duty may also join.
