History

Established in 2004.

Due to the Success of our online store we decided to open an Urban Contemporary boutique furniture showroom in Columbia MD to showcase the craftmanship and quality of our items and warehouse few of our hot moving items for local pick up and delivery.

We launched ModernContempo in 2004 out of a passion for great design and a vision to offer it at prices truly within reach. We have since grown ModernContempo to be a single destination boasting the most comprehensive online collection of original modern design, and we strive to give everyone the opportunity to share the styles that we adore.
