Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

Oxifresh did an amazing job on my house! I have two cats that aren’t shy about puking on carpet. You can’t even tell I have cats now! Dan Cunningham, my carpet cleaner did an amazing job! He was courteous and worked well around my hectic work schedule. I’ll definitely keep him in mind the next time I need carpet work done.

Contacted Oxi Fresh for a carpet cleaning after moving out of a townhouse. Found that they had the highest of marks on Angie’s List and purchased a deal.
Scheduling was very easy online, and interacting with the staff on the phone was a breeze.
The cleaner was prompt, actually a few minutes early. He was a little lost in getting to my location. He called me for help, and he sounded a little flustered about being late (he wasn’t late). I didn’t think it was any issue but the fact that he wanted to be on time gave me confidence that he cared about being professional and doing things right.
The job performed was excellent and I would strongly reconsider Oxi Fresh if the need arises again.

I bought a Groupon for three rooms, so this was a true bargain. My hallway, stairs, and steps have never looked so clean! Dan Cunningham was efficient, knowledgable, and courteous. I found Oxi Fresh through a Groupon and wanted to take a minute share how pleased I was. They were punctual, considerate and left my white carpets white and essentially dry.

I needed the carpet cleaned in my one bedroom apartment cleaned and Oxi Fresh did a great job at a reasonable price. The whole process took less than an hour and the gentleman performing the work was polite and professional.

I purchased my groupon, scheduled my appointment 3 weeks in advance and got a confirmation email right away. The morning of, Dan, calls me 15 minutes late and says he has to cancel. I have already emptied my room, rescheduled my work day and scheduled daycare. I spoke with Brittany in Colorado and she was amazing!!! She spent an hour calling around and keeping in touch with me to get everything worked out. By 10:10 she had Dirk at my house and my carpets were done by 10:50! Brittany and Dirk were very informative and professional. They totally turned my day around. More than that, my carpets are clean and smell amazing. Dirk took extra time to explain the process to me. He is a great guy and both are a value to the company. I would use Dirk and Oxi fresh again!!!

Dirk Mason, with Oxi Fresh, just cleaned and deodorized my 10 year old carpets and now they look and smell brand new. He came on time, was professional and did a great job. Highly recommend this service provider.

I scheduled a service call on 9−4−15 for 9−19−15 at 9AM. I was told that the tech would be calling me at least 30 min before arrival, & I would get a confirmation call the day before. On 9−18−15 I called the customer service number to confirm since I did not hear from anyone. I had to arrange my 75+ hour work schedule to take off on Sat. for the appointment & therefore wanted to make sure no issue. I was told again all good I am the first on the appointments for the day and will call prior to arrival. It is now 9:17AM– no call, no tech. Called Columbia office to notify them– spoke with Adam– reached out to tech, went to voicemail. We will see what happens by 9:30 and if this is not accomadated there will be a formal complaint files. So now it is 10:30 never heard from owner Earle never heard from tech who was supposed to come, Ken. Glad I was able to get a reliable, national co to come out instead bc this company apparently sucks and is not professional. Fast forward now to noon– the tech calls me to say there was a scheduling issue he was not scheduled to work today & that the co was supposed to have rescheduled with me. Hmm that was never said yesterday– as I said I dont want to hear it & thats that. Knowing that there was a problems if this company cared the owner would have remedied this asap. The others reviews about the scheduling BS spot on.

Arrived 2 hrs. late. called when he was supposed to arrive– blamed it on the phone staff over-​scheduling him. Then he refused to honor the price quote ($ 120 that price included previous customer coupon). Said stairs and extra feet add to cost– higher price. When I asked why the increase in price from the last time they/​oxi fresh cleaned (a little over 1 month ago), he stated that the previous crew had measured incorrectly and so had charged wrong price. I asked him to honor the price that was originally quoted and take it up with his mgmt. He (rudely) refused. They must be using subcontractors– otherwise, why was this guy (Michael) so set against honoring what was originally quoted. I called and left a message for the manager, but they have not returned my call. Will not use again, especially since I was gracious enough to wait for them (2 hours) to accommodate their lateness and for nothing. Ended up having another company come next day who did a great job at a reasonable price!

I had Oxi Fresh in second year in a row because we like the first results. I feel their small equipment can actually do the carpet cleaning because my carpet were fast dry in small amount of time and water. O. F is one of my favorite carpet cleaning company on call. My guess is do not under estimate the small machine; if you don’t like what you see, it might be because the dirt on you? :)

Prompt, friendly and really going above and beyond, Earl did a great job and I will be using them in the future for all my carpet cleaning needs.

We’ve used them twice now for carpet cleaning and have been very pleased with the results both time. Technicians are very professional, respectful of my home and arrive on time. They work quickly and quietly, and as the mother of twin babies I appreciate that. My carpets were a mess due to the aforementioned babies, and these guys got them clean both times with no issues. Highly recommend their service.

I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning. The technician called and stated he was going to be a few minutes late. No big deal. He explained the process and cleaned the carpets which were filthy. He asked me to inspect the areas before he left. I’ve used Stanley Steamer in the past and found OxiFresh to be much more professional. Stanley Steamer took about 20 minutes to clean the carpets and out the door they went. The OxiFresh people spent over an hour cleaning the carpets and you can really tell the difference.

I was introduced to this service from a Groupon I purchased. My husband and I had a pet that had incontinence issues and our carpet was in dire need of cleaning. I purchased the Groupon BEFORE I read the reviews on Unilocal! (which is unusual for me because I usually consult Unilocal!before trying new things as I trust the reviews). Anyhoo, I was a little concerned when I saw all the comments about their cancelling appointments and the dispatchers and techs being rude. But based off the one positive review I read, I had hope.
Called and spoke with a pleasant appointment rep who scheduled me for a Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. She explained the process and I was okay with it. I was a little sad because I wanted the carpets cleaned before the Ravens v. Browns game as my hubby and I were hosting the game that day. But anyway, Tuesday it was. Got a call at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning from the tech informing me THAT HE’D BEEN SICK ALL NIGHT AND NEEDED TO RE-​SCHEDULE. I was HOT!!! How could they do this? The negative reviewers were right? I was going to regret this. I was going to solicit Groupon for a refund. Aside from my misgivings based on this, I had to take off work a few hours to accomodate their arrival time. I relayed this to the tech and he stated, «Well you didn’t take off the whole day did you?» WHAT??? That’s NONE of your business sir!!! Against every fiber of my being, I informed the tech he could call me when the office opened to inform me of the next time he would be able to come and clean my carpets. He called later that morning to reschedule for Thursday at 7:00 a.m.
Thursday morning at about 6:57 a.m., I got a call from the Tech saying he was at the garage door and wasn’t sure which way to go. Plus #1 He was early. When he came in, he once again explained the process, took my Groupon info and began to work. I literally sat there with my eyes wide open in amazement as I watched the stains in my carpet seem to «magically» disappear. Stains I thought for sure he was going to tell me would be IMPOSSIBLE to get out. He cleaned my Dining Room, Living Room and Hallway Carpets in about 38 minutes. I was so pleased when his work was done, that I actually clapped my hands. Especially when he said the carpet would be dry in about an hour.
I texted my husband while the tech was there to let him know that we found a winner with this one and that we would definitely use and recommend them to others. I certainly hope that all my future interactions with this company are the same as this positive result, minus the re-​schedule. If so, they will have a customer for life! Woulda got 5 stars if not for the re-​schedule.

I purchased a Living Social for Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning. I’ve also used another local franchise for cleaning my Turkish Rugs on a Groupon. By far, I was happier with Oxi Fresh. Why? A few reasons.
I have three Turkish rugs that my parents gave me that are about 30 years old. They have only been professionally cleaned on time, and that was with the previous Groupon. Otherwise, it was me scrubbing them down once a month. They were cleaned last year but were kind of gross again because they are cream and show *everything*.
The contractor really really cleaned my carpet. Every stain he pretreated and went over multiple times to get my rugs cleaned. There were no dark spots left when he was done and the overall appearance of the rug was brighter. And, two of my rugs are cream. So, I was *really* paying attention.
Second, he didn’t try to just go around furniture. He was moving furniture and getting underneath heavy pieces like my sofa, dining room table and bed.
Third, he paid really close attention to the edges of the rugs — the really grimy parts.
Fourth, I didn’t have to send my rugs out! They were on time, efficient and done with three room size rugs in an hour.
Fifth, There was no huge equipment being lugged around. Just some bottles and what looked like a large vacuum cleaner.
My only beef, and really, only, is that I wish they had worn covers on their shoes. They are cleaning the rug and walking over it damp. Maybe I’m silly, but I wish they had those surgical papers over their shoes. That’s it!
I hope this local franchise starts cleaning furniture too! I’ve got several pieces that could use the Oxi Fresh treatment.
