History

Established in 2006.

Founded in 2006, in Augusta, Georgia, by a mother-​daughter duo living with Lupus, Skip To My Lupus is a Christian service-​disabled veteran-​owned nonproft organization servng the midlands and Fort Jackson regions of South Carolina. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support services for people affected by Lupus and other autoimmune disorders.

Meet the Business Owner

Tamara R.

Business Owner

Tamara Rajah is half of the duo that founded this organization. She lives with lupus and offers first-​hand experience when advising others living with this disorder. Tamara was born in Colon, Panama and reared in the United States. She is a United States Army veteran and a graduate of Augusta State University with a degree in Sociology. She is a proud member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and the Department of Veterans Affairs Patient Advisory Board. Tamara is married to Yousef. Thier children are Angelo and Alison; and their dog, Marlee.
