We live and work in Columbia, Maryland, and its surrounding neighborhoods, building long-​term relationships with the area’s residents. We rent and manage individually owned residential properties only, allowing us to work one-​on-​one with the owners and the renters. You’ll see that personal relationships are the backbone of our work, and at the same time we take every advantage that technology has to offer. With our easy online interface, tenants and owners can conduct business with us anywhere-​paying their rent, requesting maintenance, or confirming payments. Meet the Business Owner

David V.

Business Owner

David Vane co-​founded WEICHERT, REALTORS® — New Colony in February 2007, as part of the Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. franchise. This linked New Colony Realtors, founded in October 2004 by David and business partner Michael McKenna, to one of the nation’s largest private providers of real estate services. David is the current president of the Howard County Association of Realtors®.

David believes that you get what you give, both in life and in business, and this drives his performance day to day and guides his interactions with customers. «I’m motivated by the desire to build a company that is both the best firm to work for and that provides the best experience for our clients.» Customers describe David as knowledgeable, compassionate and a person with a strong sense of integrity.

A graduate of Frostburg State University, David currently resides in Columbia, Md. He enjoys any activity that allows him to spend time outdoors and time with his family.
