Advanced Dermatology Center

While I appreciated Dr. Steinberg’s expertise, I found his office staff to be rude and the wait time to be excessive. I’ve had several appointments with him and each time have been kept waiting no less than 30 minutes. On average, I wait for 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment to be seen.
I wish Martin Army would have a dermatologist on staff so going off post wouldn’t be a necessity.

I previously wrote a review about not going to this doctor because they hire employees who violate the HIPA law. Just recently I received an email stating «my review was deleted because I did not have first hand knowledge». I am reporting my comment because I do have first hand knowledge and I have the papers to prove it!

I have never been so disappointed with a dermatologist. Very rude. Staff was great but the so called «doctor» was very, very rude.

Dr. Steinberg’s office was pushing expensive products they sell rather than recommending products I could find at places like Target or Walmart that would be more affordable for me. Dr. Steinberg wrote me a prescription that I was unable to fill at my pharmacy, which is on Ft. Benning. I spent literally hours trying to get his staff to ask him to write me a prescription that would be similar but could be filled at my pharmacy (I had talked to the pharmacist at Ft. Benning to ask what they stocked there that would be comparable.) The nurses kept telling me to go to pharmacies such as Walgreens and that I could get my medicine for free. After failing to have them comprehend that people with Tricare can’t just go to a civilian pharmacy and get prescriptions for free, I eventually gave up dealing with Dr. Steinberg’s office. He wasn’t a good enough doctor to make me put up with an incompetent staff; I have better things to do with my time and found a different dermatologist whose staff is more responsive to patients. The staff was rude and he made me uncomfortable during my appointment.

I have never been so disappointed with a professional doctors office in my life. The staff, from the women at the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctor himself, were rude, condescending, and very short with me. I showed up early for a 3pm appt. They let two people who arrived after me in before me. They did not listen to me. After waiting for 80 minutes, the doctor finally comes in and condescendingly has the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule, because my appt was to be a medical one instead of a cosmetic consult, which is free. I made it clear that I had no problem paying and I just wanted his advice, but he literally treated me like a stupid child, after I had been waiting for so long to see him. I was fighting back tears in the chair, before he even began to examine me. It felt like he was accusing me of trying to not pay, even though I made it clear I was more then willing to pay whatever was need. Overall, this not a good dermatology office. Next time I am going to look for someplace that isn’t so «commercial» and cosmetic based, because these people were assholes and didn’t help me at all. My advice: Stay away from this place, you can find better.
