Anne Daly Massage

Anne is wonderful. My upper back had been killing me of late and she worked a lot of the kinks out over the course of an hour. The hot bamboo is really enjoyable; it slightly burns for a split second and then all of your muscles just loosen up. She’s also good at accounting for how much force to use to try and help you relax. Overall, an excellent experience, and I plan to go back for the Shiatsu.

Received my first massage from Anne last week. I had been seeing therapists at other salons, but it seems like my favorites always disappear to another salon. So, I decided to try someone who owns her own business — Unilocal to the rescue! I am so glad I found Anne. Her office was very easy to find. Anne took the time to listen to my needs and tailored my massage just for me. I walked out without an ache or pain and still feel great one week later! I will definitely be seeing Anne in the future.

I desperately needed an impromptu massage, and my usual place was booked for months. Naturally I turned to trusty Unilocal — and little did I know it was about to be a life-​changing choice.
Anne is truly a student of her work. All deep tissue massages help me temporarily, but none have done the job I really needed. Luckily, Anne practices more therapeutic styles than I even knew existed, and soon enough she was standing on my back to begin Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy — the king of deep tissue massages.
Now let me tell you, I HATE feet. I wholeheartedly believe they are the very worst human appendage. However, this experience changed my perspective completely. Turns out, feet are mini miracle workers with a stinky rep. In Ashiatsu, the therapist uses parallel bars hanging from the ceiling to walk across the client, who is laying face down on the table. It’s known as the deepest massage on the planet, and can get rid of knots in seconds that the hands would normally take hours to accomplish.
Just go to Anne. You have to try this! She is so reasonably priced and I never want another kind of massage again. Unless it’s free, of course. Those are always good, too…

Absolutely perfect. She listened to exactly what I said and worked on the problem areas. The amount of pressure I wanted was fantastic. Very easy to find. Temp of room was great. Actual massage itself was amazing, I almost fell asleep on the table. Definitely take a visit.

This was the most relaxing deep tissue massage. She really worked on my knots and made me feel amazing for days afterwards.

Anne does a great job. I have been to several LMTs over the years, and my wife used to practice as well. I know a good massage, and Anne is good. She applies the right amount of pressure to release muscle strain and tension.

I am usually not one to splurge on things like massages, but I was in serious need of some back pain relief after moving and lugging around a 10 month old. I did some searching on Unilocal and found Anne. I thought I’d give it a shot, since I like supporting local businesses.
Anne listened to me explain my issues and did a great job of focusing on my problem areas in my back. It helped quite a bit and was very relaxed when she was finished!
Her space is in a building across from the Park of Roses and is very well decorated in soothing blues, nice music, etc. Her rates are pretty on par with other places in town, or so it seems to me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and I’ll try to be back as time/​budget allows!

For almost ten years I’ve gotten massages from Ms. Daly. Every time it is a lifesaver. Everything from your basic therapeutic massage to prenatal and lymphatic. She is a superb listener, a careful but strong practitioner, and an all-​around comforting presence.
I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Highly recommended. I am not typically a big fan of getting massages, as I have had some disappointing and uncomfortable experiences in the past. But Anne has changed my opinion. Under her talented hands, areas of tension I did not even know I had were uncovered and released. I felt fantastic after my massage, happy, somehow taller, comfortable in my skin. Anne is friendly and professional and exudes the confidence of someone who has years of experience and really enjoys her job. Her easy-​to-​get-​to office is lovely and clean without seeming sterile. I wish this local small business owner much success.

I’ve had several massages from Anne. She is a real pro and understands what a body needs and is really great with all of my sensitivities. I’m a massage therapist’s nightmare– and she really listens. Not only does she hit all the therapeutic buttons, but she’s always getting certified in the latest techniques. She just did a bamboo fusion massage the other day and WOW, what a treat! It’s soooo much better than hot stone for the hot massage, rounded edges just feel better and do more! Plus, she’s the only masseuse in Central Ohio that can do this type thus far. Pretty cool. Her new office is in Clintonville and really cute. Overall I highly recommend her!
