Arch Express Transportation

I had an early business flight out first thing Monday morning. I called two days ahead of time to schedule a pick up to the airport. The driver never showed up Monday morning. When I called him 10 minutes after my scheduled pick up time he said he had completely forgotten about my reservation. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional to «forget» a reservation when someone is depending on you to get them to the airport for a flight. Will find another more reputable company to use in the future.

Just add a half hour to whatever time they say they will be there. Vans reeked of perfume car freshners. Both times gave me a headache. Will not use again.

I went on Arch Express’s website two days before my desired service and reserved a shuttle from Port Columbus International Airport to the Renaissance Downtown Columbus Hotel. I received an e-​mail confirmation with my pre-​arranged rate and pick-​up information.
However, my flight was delayed coming in by about 15 minutes, and when I got to the shuttle area there was no shuttle to be found. I waited about 15 minutes and then called the number I was given in the e-​mail confirmation. The phone was answered by someone who had apparently been woken up by my call, and when I told him the situation he said he was off the clock and that I should try calling the office number. I called the office number and there was no answer.
I ended up taking a cab instead, which was fine, but it put me at my hotel right as the kitchen was closing for the night. The delay almost caused me to miss dinner which as we all know is very frustrating after a 10-​hour travel day.
You’d be well served choosing another shuttle service if you’re flying into Columbus.

This company is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. The incident took place June 29, 2013. We decided for my dads 60^th birthday that we’d take him out in style. We rented a party bus to pick 16 of us up and take us to Cincinnati to the new Horeshoe Casino.
The bus was supposed to be at our house at 4:45. The bus did not show up until 5:15. Then the driver did not understand where he was or how to get us to Cincinnati so my mom had to pull up directions on her IPhone and show him.
We all get on the bus and soon realize that it’s nothing as was advertised. No music because the faceplate was missing. No fridge. The t.v. didn’t work. There wasn’t a trash can to put our trash. The bus was dirty. We found old beer crammed in one of the nooks on the bus. And the bus air conditioning only worked a portion of the time.
The driver drove to Cincinnati the whole way going probably 55mph. By the time we made it to the Horeshoe, we had about an hour to gamble before we had to be back on the bus, otherwise we’d be charged an additional fee.
So we all blew through the casino as fast as we could trying to at least play a few games and then hurry up to get back on the bus.
This is where it gets really exciting… it’s dark now. Going 71s. all the lights on the bus go out. Driver pulls to the side of the road ON 71 at dark and tries to access the situation. Finally gets them working. Get about a mile, lights go out again. This happened to us 4 TIMES! Finally he pulls into a gas station and gets whomever on the phone to try to help him. So we are stranded and starving because we didn’t even have time to eat at the casino. So we resorted to having LaRosas pizz delivered to the gas station while we wait for whomever to help this driver.
Luckily a guy on the bus knew about wires and what have you and realized that something was crossed. He was able to fix it in get in working order. If it wasn’t for him who knows how long we would have been sitting at the gas station.
We were supposed to be home by 10pm and didn’t roll into town until after midnight.
My mother calls the next day to report everything and demand they do something for her. The girl offered her a lousy $ 175. My mom said noway. My mom said at least $ 300, which I think is still being more than generous. If I was my mom and I would have said I wasn’t paying a single cent to them! Anyway the girl said she’d have to talk with her boss and get back to my mom. Do you THINK they got back to my mom??? Nope. So my mom writes the manager or company a letter and guess what… NO RESPONSE!!!
This company is a complete and utter dissapoint. This company put our life in danger by putting a casket on wheels on the road. I can’t believe this is how they conduct business and I’m really surprised that they are still in business!
DO NOT by any means do business with these people! You have been warned… not only by me but it seems most of the folks on here.

The website doesn’t give you a price. I had to make a reservation and then call to get the price. It took them a few days to call me back with a price and to get my credit card information.
At the airport, I waited 15 minutes and then called them to be sure that I was in the right place. They asked me when I’d made the reservation and if I’d paid for it (yes) and then put me on hold. When they came back they said that the driver had been caught in a storm and was running late. An HOUR later, the driver showed up and said that she had been at the grocery store when they called her for an ‘emergency’ pick up. Then, I had to use the GPS on my own phone to tell her how to get to my destination because she couldn’t find it on hers.(Otherwise, the driver was very nice.)
They were difficult to make a reservation with, and then they lost my reservation and lied about it. Take a cab. It’s worth the extra $ 10.

Nothing says «Go with another company!» than the clause in their contract that allows them to charge your credit card $ 150 for any complaint you alledge against them via the internet, BBB, atty general, or otherwise.
Oh, and they send you this contract after the cc authorization form… you have to ASK for the contract.

Probably the worst shuttle service I’ve ever had. I made arrangements for a group of people to be picked up and taken back to the airport. First, the driver did not know where to take the group, even though I’d clearly spelled it out ahead of time and confirmed the hotel location. This was stressful for our participants, and just an unnecessary headache for me.
Then, to top that, when they were supposed to be picked up, there was no shuttle in sight, nor anyone answering their phone! That’s right – I had folks with flights to catch and no way to get them there. Eventually I got the owner on the phone, who called the driver who was not in route to the meeting location… but was sitting at the airport, a half hour drive away! Total miscommunication and poor management on their end. By the time we got a shuttle driver, it had been nearly 45 minutes since the time they were scheduled to be picked up.
Poor excuse for a shuttle service.

Paid $ 270 for RT transportation for my son from the Columbus airport to Muskingum College. I sent the company an email with his flight information to which Arch Express said «they would update the file». Long story short, Arch Express was at the airport at the departure time from our hometown and not the arrival time in Columbus. My son called the phone number left on his cell by the driver who was in the shower when he returned the call and had to wait over an hour for Arch Express to show up.
When I contacted the office, they denied getting my email with the flight information in it (despite the fact that they responded to the same email with the copy of it saying they received it) This is definitely not what I paid for.
