I really enjoyed my visit to bath and body works today. All the staff were friendly and helpful, showing me and my mother the current sales and some of their favorite products. I had never bought anything from them before but they made me feel confident that I was going home with the scents that were right for me. All in all a very relaxing atmosphere and it certainly made my day.

I like Bath and Body Works stores but generally don’t visit this location due to it’s being IN the mall… HOWEVER after my experience yesterday, I will DEFINITELY be going back to this particular store(it was located on the lower level of Polaris Mall near Macy’s — I know there used to be one on the upper level so am not sure if there are multiple Bath & Body stores in the mall or not, but this review is about the LL location)!! We were immediately greeted upon walking in and asked if we had any questions — always a nice gesture — acknowledging your customers — an etiquette which alot of businesses lack these days, in my opinion… My friend had a few questions that were efficiently answered by Matthew(I believe that was his name — am SO sorry I don’t remember his name for sure because he was AWESOME!). As we were chatting about the various sale options, I inquired as to whether or not I could also use a coupon WITH the sale items — muttering something under my breath to my friend about leaving my coupons in the car, but I would run and get them if we could combine them with the sale. Matthew asked what the coupons were for — like $ off or % off — which I couldn’t remember. Then he asked where they had come from(snail mail, email, etc). I mentioned they had come in the mail and he immediately knew what they were! To say I was SHOCKED by the next words out of Matthew’s mouth, would be putting it MILDLY… He said, «Oh, we’ll honor that, no worries»!!! I had to do a «double-take» and asked him if he meant I didn’t have to go running out to my car to get them, he said«No problem, just tell them when you check out about the coupon and that I said it was OK to give you the discount, I trust you»!!! WOW… Just WOW! When’s the last time you heard THAT from a store or clerk in a store!!! I’m SURE my mouth must have HIT the floor! I was dumbfounded! I thanked him and walked away thinking…“how SMART is THAT?”!!! Great sales tactic because of COURSE I was thinking«oooo…I have 20% off everything… what can I BUY?!»… LOL… We were then allowed to peruse on our own without being«pestered» — but help was readily available when I was seeking a certain style of an item that just happened to be out of stock on the shelf. In the meantime, some nice person shopping in the store at the same time offered me her coupon because she wasn’t going to be using it. When we got up to the counter to check out, Matthew immediately came over and started telling the check out person that she could give us the«mail» discount — and she didn’t even flinch — appeared they do that frequently. The check out person was very pleasant and considerate — easy to deal with and efficient also. As my friend was checking out, I stepped over to Matthew and asked if he was the manager — he said he was«one of them at that store» and I just told him how impressed I was — and that I felt great about the interactions in the store — so much so, that I’ll make a point of returning to THAT store instead of the one I «usually» frequent… Do yourself a favor and patronize THIS location of Bath & Body — they’re GREAT!
