History
Established in 1872.
Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild, LLP traces its roots back over 135 years to 1872. The modern era of the Firm began in 1951, when Alan F. Rothschild joined the firm. In 1962, Aaron J. Land, a former Judge became a partner. Howell Hollis became a member of the Firm in 1969, and the name of the firm then changed to its current style, Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild.
Since our founding, Hatcher Stubbs has sought to provide superior legal services to a wide variety of clients, including individuals, small and family businesses, major corporations, hospitals and physicians, financial institutions, tax-exempt organizations, and public sector boards and authorities. Like our founders, we are committed to providing superior legal services and making a difference in Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley. This commitment to professional excellence and community service is as much a part of the firm culture today as it has been for the past 135 years.
