Family owned and operated for forty years in Ohio, Broad & James Auto Care & Towing offers a wide variety of award-​winning services for dependable towing and repairs. We proudly serve all areas of Franklin County, including Columbus and surrounding suburbs, Gahanna, Whitehall, Bexley, Reynoldsburg and New Albany. We have over 40-​employees working with us for you, open 7-​days per week and towing year round ²⁴⁄₇ — rain, snow or shine!

History

Established in 1973.

Family owned and operated, Wally Shriner started business as a Shell service station way back in 1973. Wally was inducted into the towing and recovery hall of fame in 1995 for his outstanding commitment and integrity. Sadly, Wally passed away in 1999, but his tradition for excellence still remains with us. Broad & James closed the Shell station, getting out of the gas business in 2008, allowing them to concentrate on auto repair and towing.

Wally’s sons, Tom and Jim Shriner have successfully run the business for the past 15-​years, growing the company into one of the largest and most capable towing companies in Ohio. Employing more than 40 workers and expert technicians, Broad and James is able to quickly respond to any and all automotive emergencies ²⁴⁄₇. Broad & James currently works with eight police departments, many auto clubs, several new car dealers, numerous independent garages and body shops, and hundreds of private property impounds.

Broad & James has been awarded the ACE Award for the past 13-​years. This award is given by the Auto Clubs to the top 1% of towers in the US for outstanding service.
