History

Established in 1993.

Originally starting from Clara’s house, the business grew, causing the company to move to the Arena District of downtown Columbus. Now, she and her 11 teammates work together in providing detailed customer service for clients.

Business Owner

The owner of CIBI — Clara I. Brown Interiors, Inc. came from Colombia, South America to northwest Ohio in the early 1970s as a newly married teenager with Spanish as her only language.

Today, she runs a 12 employee business that has catered to the workspace needs of corporate, healthcare, education, government, and nonprofit clients.
