Not really sure how this place got anything less than amazing reviews. The building is small and the entry is uncomfortable but man oh man is there heaven inside! If you want authentic delicious Indian food, this is your place. We had an arrangement of food and all of it was amazing. I had lamb korma for my main dish and I consider myself a bit of a korma fanatic and this was up with some of the best. Husband had lamb butter curry and that was delicious as well. My only complaint was there must have been an issue with the AC in the building and it was a bit warm. Still, even as hot as I get, I would go back over and over, AC or not. Sadly we live out of state. You local folks are missing a real diamond in the rough.

–5 stars for everything — cleanliness, food and hygiene. I don’t even want to think of any place to visit like this. I usually don’t write negative and therefore don’t try restaurant without checking reviews. Unfortunately landed here one day as I was in Columbus for 2 weeks and wanted to try each Indian restaurant in town.

Love this place. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. There’s something unique in their curries. Great little place. Good chai as well!

Food was great! Although if you order goat as your meat in your marsala it may have bones in it.

Visiting son in Columbus and had chicken curry delivered via grubhub… it was absolutely on the spot. My issue with most curry dishes is that typically it is overridden with sweet to «bland» it out to accommodate the general palate. It was full of flavor and of the right«heat». Before I go home, i will most certainly eat their red curry chicken, whether via grubhub or at the establishment.

This is the best ever Indian restaurant in Columbus! Try their buffet! There are around 20 dishes supplied and each one is so good with sweet smell and taste. No idea why it’s not popular on Unilocal but I strongly recommend it!

I ordered some curry dish but I don’t really like it… The flavor is weird… But I met an Indian couple there and they said the dish was quite authentic. So maybe it’s just not for me. And the waiter was nice.

This place was pretty average to me. I thought it was not too bad, but am not in a hurry to come back. The buffet has a decent selection. It seems to be the best value. The quality of the food was again pretty average. I thought the staff was friendly, though. I will probably give this another chance.

I just ordered from here via Grub Hub, and it was awesome! I was kind of nervous after reading some of these reviews about the super long delivery time/bad service/grease pools in the curry but I had no problems at all. I got the Chana masala and garlic naan. I love spicy, so I ordered it hot, and it’s honestly almost too hot for me — that never happens. Next time I’ll get medium. It wasn’t oily or anything, but that might be because there’s no meat in that dish. I don’t know. Anyway, the garlic naan was delicious too and the portions of everything were great — there is enough for probably two meals of leftovers(but I’m a tiny 100 pound girl so that might vary for others). Delivery was right on time with the window that Grub Hub gave me. Good experience! I’ll definitely order from or go here again.

Had a wonderful dinner at Curry and Sweets — we were the only table, but were in there later in the evening on a Saturday. Food was delicious — shared the chicken tikka masala and chicken korma with a side of plain naan. The portion size was on the larger side, so we definitely had leftovers and will enjoy those for lunch tomorrow This was our first time visiting and had a Groupon. Staff was very friendly and attentive, will definitely go back. On a side note, the menu is also halal.

I love Indian food and tried most of Indian restaurants in Columbus. I ordered 2 dishes to go from curry and dosa today, it tastes ok but their food gave me serious diarrhea. :(

Great food but delivery is late. Full Maria for the tandoor. Simply amazing tandoor dishes. Must try!

I stopped in here for a quick to-go meal this week. Good experience with the staff, and my food came out quickly. Sadly, my good experiences mostly ended there. My goal curry had about ¼ inch of grease floating on top, and no amount of stirring could get it mixed in. The goat itself was small pieces and very bony, the actual meat content was just a few bites. The rice lacked that basmati quality that I was expecting. The parata was good, though. I think for the price other, better restaurant options are available.

If there is a option to give 0 star then I would love to give that. Price of the food is very high and staff is very unprofessional and their behaviour is very bad. It’s not worth going there.

A few days ago my husband and I went to Curry and Dosa, a little restaurant tucked away in a strip mall off Kenny Road. The place was small, but it was nicely decorated and it smelled wonderful when we walked in the door. For appetizers we had the veggie samosas(triangles of fried dough stuffed with potatoes and veggies) and dhai vadai(spiced rice and lentil flour donuts smothered with a tangy yogurt sauce). For my main entrée I had the chicken korma(pieces of chicken in a sauce made with coconut milk and cashews) and Bill had the lamb curry(pieces of lamb in a spicy curry sauce). We each had roti(flat bread) and a mango lassi(sort of like a mango milkshake). Everything was delicious and brought back good memories of eating Indian food my mom used to cook! I highly recommend them for an authentic, delicious, and reasonably-priced meal.

Sooo good. So much food for such a great price. Service was just fine, didn’t have any issues and our food came out very fast which was great since we were starving. We ended up not being able to finish everything because we were so stuffed! We will definately be going back!

We stopped for lunch at Curry and Sweets(which is now Curry and Dosa according to their banner signage) on Saturday. Our plan was to use a Groupon, but it was only good for dinner time. It’s rare that I eat buffet food — sometimes it’s hard to tell what you are getting and the quality and freshness of the food can vary for any number of reasons. I”m happy to say Curry and Dosa has a decent Indian buffet, with lots of options. I had a little bit of everything, including a chicken curry dish which was good, a really good paneer, and best of all, vegetable jalfrezi. Nothing was less than medium-spicy aside from the Tandoori chicken. Regular naan comes with the buffet, and there are some green salad fixins on the bar as well. Even though it was close to two on a Saturday afternoon, the offerings were plentiful and fresh. Service was friendly, but we spent several minutes trying to figure if we’d get a bill, but we ended up going to the counter to pay. A quick, inexpensive lunch, and we’ll be back with our Groupon for dinner soon.

I had a horrible experience with a takeout order for chicken biriyani. There were hardly any chicken pieces at all. It was just masala rice. I felt I was betrayed. I would never place an order again at this restaurant.

I know what is authentic Indian foods. But Curry & Sweets offer none of these. I just read that there is a new owner?! And the meat, oh boy, is of terrible quality. There are plenty of Goat meat that is «gristle» or «cartilage» that make it impossible to chew apart. Out of my 20 years eating out, I never experienced such terrible quality of meat in a restaurant. And Only 1 waitress on weekend night! No doubt, my wife and I agree this was the worst restaurant experience that we ever had in Columbus OH.

I had a wonderful dinner at Curry and Sweets. I went on a Sunday night, and found the place completely empty. I wasn’t sure if I made the right decision! We were greeted immediately by the owner(who was very friendly), and we ordered the vegetable pakora. I might pass on it next time, as it wasn’t that special. Soon after we ordered, a larger party had arrived and been seated(whew…). We were informed that it may take a little longer to bring our dishes out, since everything is prepared fresh in-house. I certainly have no problem with this! I ordered the Chicken Chettined, and my sister had the Chicken Tikka Masala(their meats are halal, for those with dietary restrictions). Both were amazing. The quality of the chicken was great(I hope it’s like this every time). The portions are huge(easily can box half of your dish), and the prices are great($ 11). We also had a mango lassi, which paired excellently with our food. I’ll definitely be back.

I have never seen such poor customer service. I ordered through GrubHub, and this is the timeline of the delivery: 1:01 pm– order confirmed via text. ETA: 2:05 — 2:15. 2:14– order updated. ETA2:30 — 2:40. 2:45– called Curry and Sweets. They said the driver was on the way and would arrive in 5 – 10 mins. 3:08– Food arrived. No apology for lateness. The tandoori chicken was bland. The roti was hard. The daal soup was watery and looked like it came out of a can. The only decent thing was the rice. I paid $ 25.63(%15 tip included) for food that was not only incredibly late but unappetizing. I literally just threw my money away. The GrubHub reviews were decent. I really should have checked here first.

I ordered delivery from Curry and Sweets today, and I was quite pleased with the experience. The delivery driver did have a bit of difficulty finding my house, but that’s mostly just because of the silly way my complex is arranged and the lack of streetlights in most places. Beyond that, I didn’t really have any issues. The vindaloo was extra spicy, just the way I like it. And the food was pretty affordable, especially when compared with some other places. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

Placed an order today at 5:30PM — it is now 7:58PM — multiple excuses when calling. This is absolutely ridiculous and poor customer service. Lost a customer for life and I will spread the word. This is unacceptable and completely unheard of.
