Drive-thru booze doesn’t exist much in California, so we were more than happy to drive through the building to get some drinks to brown-bag it at sonic. After a lengthy discussion with the liquor drone, he helped us pick a hangover inducing mix of beer and highly sweetened drinks. Prices are comparable and you can’t beat the convenience.

I ran through the End Zone while in Columbus to grab some beer to take to my hotel room. I was pleasantly surprised to see a decent selection of beers that went beyond the normal Miller-Budweiser-Natural Light stuff. It wasn’t aisles and aisles of choices but still, there were some imports and well-known craft beers. I got a big Newcastle and was on my way.

End Zone Drive Thru. I didn’t even realize this place had a name. Hah. I just know it’s the carryout where I rent my Uhaul trucks. I just submitted some edits, but this is currently listed as a party supplies and party and event planning store. Well, party supplies is a stretch, in so far as it is a beer and cigarette carryout. I suppose those are party supplies. Although, I think the category is more intended for places that sell plastic cups and plates, decorative, disposable tablecloths, wrapping paper, etc. End Zone is a good size drive thru. They have a large selection of beers, including some microbrews, and offer other standard convenience store goods. And you don’t even have to get out of your car! The Uhaul rentals are the real deal though. First of all, the guy who works here most days is a mellow, down to earth, chill kind of a guy. He’s given me discounts when I’ve had issues before, and even invited me to play video games on their office PlayStation while I waited for him to take care of drive thru customers(they take priority, as your order takes much longer than theirs). Secondly, they have a small, but but varietal enough fleet of Uhauls and they are rarely ever out. Meaning you can almost always head in without a reservation and rent a Uhaul. I’ve used them for all but maybe one of my moves in the last four years. Highly recommended.
