Great time, good food, good service, great experience! The bartender was great and the trivia was fun. Half off wine on Thursday… Can’t beat it!

Amanda is amazing! Fierce with her red hair, she makes a killer drink, is great for convo, and no matter if it’s your first time or last, she treats you like a regular. Trivia Night with Chris is also one for the books. We only came… For the trivia.

Guys really? You were recently on a TV show to save the business. It’s not a good idea to bring me a Caesar Salad with chicken in a paper carnival tub(with brown lettuce and cold, shredded, buffalo chicken) and charge $ 12.50 for it. That’s not how you get good reviews. To make things worse, the Chicken Parm arrived in another carnival paper tub. The chicken had some cheese on top but no red sauce and no pasta. WTH guys? The Falafel was acceptable but again showed up in a paper tub. $ 51.00 later we were done. Now I know why the place was completely empty on a Friday night. The second star is for a great space with fantastic décor. That is all.

We ordered the pulled pork and beef sliders, planning to share. What arrived was beef and Ahi, but we endured. The beef sliders were better than the tuna. The Ahi sliders were not great, which is what I was expecting after the professional makeover. The overpriced sides were terrible in my opinion. Cauliflower, capers and cherry tomatoes was my choice, never again. My friend had the fries which come SMOTHERED in feta, bacon and mustard of all things. Both sides served in paper boats while over 6 inches of plate space separated my sliders, inhabited only by the 3 olive garnish. Tried 2 white wines, both were overly sweet and even the Chardonnay reminded me of Moscato, not a good pair with the Tuna. Our server was nice but inexperienced, hence the pork vs. tuna debacle. I haven’t yet watched the tv show which drew me here, but my first experience won’t bring me back.

«Factory on 4th”=Cray. I liked the food before, I like the food now. The service was disappointing before, the service is disappointing now. The inside looks different obviously but it’s just sad when you go in and it’s empty. We got drinks, fries and sliders. The waitress took the order on an iPhone and it took way longer than it should have. Like minutes. Plural. We just got a weird unfriendly vibe and quickly decided we would not be getting another round. I really wanted to like it but it’s just hard to be comfortable somewhere when the staff makes you feel like a nuisance.

For lunch, I had the«small dish» Mac & Cheese Carbonaro and my friend the small dish Chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were right-sized and very tasty. Prices are reasonable, if not just a smidge higher than I expected. Crystal, Owner, was a delight as she also doubled as our server. The décor and ambiance are fun, indeed, since the crew from Restaurant: Impossible transformed the place a couple of months ago(the episode airs April 27 at 10:00 pm on the Food Network, although I’m not 100% sure of the time). It looks like a great happy hour venue. All in all, an enjoyable first visit. I expect to return.

Such a great place to drink and eat especially during happy hour. I’ve never had a bad experience at this bar and it has become my go to spot. The bartenders know what they’re doing and they have a great beer selection that changes every time I go in. If you don’t want to drive for 30 minutes trying to find a parking spot downtown but still want craft cocktails and made from scratch food then this is the place.

Read about the new remodel and came to eat dinner and drink with several friends. We tried the Fried Risotto, Mac& Cheese Carbonara, Sweet Potato Tater Tots and Blackened Ahi Tuna along with some beers and drinks. The food came out in a reasonable time frame and was EXCELLENT particularly the Sweet Potato Tater Tots,(yes I said Tater Tots) & the Mac & Cheese Carbonara. We all love cocktails & beer and like to support local producers if the products are good… well this place surprised us all! We had some great beer from a Cinci brewer & the best Old Fashioned that any of us had ever had from a place out of Utica Ohio called Mill St. Distillery. Our waitress was very kind & knowledgeable and we had a great time. Congrats Factory on Forth you have something here. We will be back VERY soon!

Gave this place a chance because of the recent«changes». I’m not sure what it was like before, but it definitely isn’t good now. The service was bad and slow, the food was decent but nothing special, and it was extremely over priced. $ 10 for 2TEENY pieces of fish with no side(except 3 olives if you call that a side)… Sad to say we will not be returning.

Read the reviews and even though most were negative, we decided to give it a try. I wish we paid attention more to what others said. The service was bad and the food took 45 min to come out. Paid $ 10 for 2 ahi sliders that were medium well(I expected rare) and were less than pleasing. The food is very overpriced for what you get. I wish this place the best of luck, but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Expected more especially since they changed from Cray to Factory on 4th.

Bad service, ok food. Formerly Cray, my first trip to the newly revamped Factory on 4th was pretty disappointing. Upon entering, the new décor was cute, but nothing about it is «factory». Then, my party of 6 was instructed to have a seat anywhere, then were told the open table we chose wasn’t avaiable, then we waited 10 minutes and then we able to stay at this table. Our server Oliver can to the table and immediately had the disclaimer ok something like«I’m gonna be taking care of you tonight, and I apologize, but I am not at my best» which is usually a modest statement, but here, very factual. We placed our food and drink orders at the same time, thank goodness, after sorting out the 3 menus. Oliver said he’d grab waters for the table and failed to do so for the entire 2 hours we were there. Our drinks came out at random time and not together, then barely refilled. And we were ready to drink! Their loss. When the food finally arrived, it was okay. I know my friends said the Mahi fish sliders were awesome. My $ 10 small plate of fried risotto was bland and a pitifully small portion for the price. Some food came out on plates, some in paper food boats like at the fair. Cray had way more slider options! Getting our checks and paying took 15 minutes and then some as our waiter also screwed up my check. Other complaints: there is only 1 bathroom for one person at a time, no hostess, uncomfortable seats, slow service. Even though this restaurant was redone my Restaurant: Impossible recently, still not worth it.

Even after reading the reviews I was still hopeful! I was in a group of 7, we all ordered and I ordered the veggie burger sliders. After waiting over 45 minutes our food started to come out. Everyone received their food except for me, and it was at that time the waiter informed me they were out of veggie burgers. I then had to wait 15 more minutes for them to make me something I didn’t even want. The waiter tried to remedy the situation by bring 5 out of 7 of us shots… … I didn’t want a shot a just wanted a veggie burger!

I had the ahi tuna salad. 14 bucks for cold, bland, under cooked rice in a small paper basket. Also, there was no lettuce involved, which is fine, but I think should be made clear for something in the«salad» section on the menu. The bartender asked how it was, and I told her it wasn’t great, and I wouldn’t order it again. My friend had the fries loaded with bacon and feta, and those were tasty. The staff were nice and the décor oozed trendy and hip. Hoping this new restaurant is still in progress.

Went on Friday after seeing the article in the Dispatch. Thought they would be mobbed, but only 6 or 7 groups. Ordered a beer at the bar while we looked at the menu. 20 minutes later, no one asked if we wanted to order. Three or four employees at the end of the bar figuring out their tips. Paid for our drinks and left hungry. We’ll be moving down the street to Hoof Hearted from now on.

The fries are addictive! Covered in a sauce that has a hint of citrus flavor, feta cheese, and bacon. Our waitress Marcy was great. We also spoke to the owner, she was very friendly and joked around with us. Definitely worth returning to!

Working in the Smith Bros Hardware Bldg just down the block, I saw all the Restaurant Impossible filming and tents. Being curious and eager to try it out, I went on re-opening day. One word: underwhelming. Two words: painfully disappointed. We were some of the first people there after doors opened and it was as if we shouldn’t have been there. The owner, Crystal(I think is her name) was probably nervous, but she was going through the motions. Hi, yeah, yeah, the show will air in April, go sit down … totally un-engaging. You should want to hype it ip, share your enthusiasm, tell us about what’s new and different(we were asking). So, okay, whatever. Saddled up to the bar, the bartender was even more unfriendly. Downright rude. She either did NOT want to be there, or was exuding some deep-rooted resentment toward how the place. I get it, show aside, we were there as patrons, paying our way. No free debut comp or anything. She was so rude that we didn’t even order bother ordering food. Just paid for our one beer and bolted. The menu? Small. Unimaginative. The best drinks and infused liquor is now gone. Spicy margarita? Gone. Draft beers? Same as beforw. So, wait? They vastly reduced the drink menu, eliminated the best things, and increased prices? Ohhhkay … I can’t speak for the food(see above), but the décor is very generic. Call me crazy(pun), but at least Cray had an identity. Now it looks like a generic any-place, any-where. I’m not sure why I even give it 2 stars; I guess because it feels too harsh to only throw 1 star at it. We won’t be back, though. Walking distance to happy hour from work or not.
