Family Dollar

Just went here to grab some pop, and I was greeted coming in the door by one of the staff. He was very friendly and helpful, asking if I needed help finding anything. I told him what I wanted, and he pointed me straight to it.
They have a surprising selection of food stuffs, including milks and cheeses (not just dry goods). I bought some batteries as well, including those small round ones used in laser pointers.
The interior is very clean and well lit. The parking lot is sizeable, and there’s even a bike rack (although it looks a little mangled, it’s still usable). It’s right near 71, and not far from a bus stop.
This is a nicer than average Family Dollar with a clean interior, nice staff, and it’s easy to get to.

Wow, Family Dollar is everywhere! I noticed this when I cut across Hudson recently. I swear it wasn’t there a few months ago, but I could be wrong. Still, compared to others nearby, it is definitely newer, bigger, and cleaner.
I snagged some cheap candy and other snacks. They have a decent selection of household items, health and beauty stuff, etc. Handy in a pinch, but not someplace to get everything on your list. Service was good.
I’ll keep this one in mind, as it could be on my way to work. Getting out at rush hour might be hard; it sits right beside 71.
