OK, did I just catch them on a bad day? I needed some produce on a Monday. Marvin’s Market is closed Mondays so I decided to try Fat Boy’s (interesting name for a farmer’s market… better name for a barbeque restaurant). I was NOT impressed. The place was hot, stuffy, smelly and a little dirty. I walked through quickly so I could say I gave it a chance and walked right back out. Also, the parking lot is a little weird and cramped and somewhat difficult to maneuver. From now on, if I need produce on a Monday I will just go to Publix or wait until another day and go to Marvin’s Market.

You do not see many markets anymore and this is about as close as you can get. They offer great prices and good value for the freshness of the fruits and veggies you get here. This ranks as one of the best places to shop for fruits and veggies.
