Fifth & Kenny saved my dog’s life… without a doubt!
Maysie had a massive seizure Thursday morning. Without delay, I rushed her here because it’s the closest vet to my house. Not being my regular veterinarian, they, without the slightest hesitation, scooped her from my arms and did all the necessary procedures to get her stabilized before referring her to OSU.
Thank you for saving the life of my most precious companion!!!

I love the staff here! Everyone is so nice and so sweet to my dog Rufus. I like both Dr. Therese and Dr. Jack; you can tell they truly love and care for animals. The rest of the staff is kind and comforting. I would recommend Fifth & Kenny Animal Hospital to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best care possible!

My dog loves the vet! Yes loves it! I have nothing but great things to say about Fifth and Kenny and the staff! Having a new chocolate lab puppy I was left to search through a sea of vets — we knew Dr Jack had a stellar reputation of being an amazing vet and he does not disappoint! The staff loves Hunter and they care for him, play with him, and have been so patient with me and my hundred questions when as issue comes up. Prices are reasonable which is important. Their hours are great and I’ve always been able to get in the same day when issues came up. Do not hesitate bringing your pet here — they’ll be taken care of for life!

This is a small and quaint little pet care center. They are very personable and homey and welcoming at this location.
I did not feel like the doctor was just trying to throw any and all possible medications and tests at me to «figure out the issue with my pet». She was very nice and understanding of the situation. Understanding of the delicacy of spending a lot of money for figuring out the possible issue. They were not like «hey I’m going to have you buy this and this and let’s see if this works».
They did a test first, than in a day they called me back about more options and the results. They gave me many different ideas of solutions, and even though it was not the same doctor that called me back this doctor was just as nice and sweet. We discussed my feelings on certain medications and they were supportive of that, so we discussed other solutions to try instead.
I will be returning again for all my loving cuddly family members. Well maybe not the humans. ;)

5^th & Kenny is great! Dr. Custer takes the time to answer all of my silly questions and explain everything he’s doing. As a first time dog owner, I really appreciate this. Everyone is the office is super friendly and great with my dog. They are cost conscious and always explain the various price options for medications so that I can pick what works best for my budget. Most importantly, my dog loves coming here!

We have had such an absolutely amazing experience with 5^th and Kenny. After our puppy was spayed, we had some concerns about her recovery and the staff was there to help us calm our fears and anxiety (even if that meant showing up at their door without an appointment as they opened!). The vet techs go above and beyond in everything they do.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I’ve received from Dr. Jack and everyone at Fifth & Kenny. They’re great — simply put, they’re good people that love what they do. Bedside (dogside?) manner is great from all staff. I’ve seen multiple vets there, and they’re all consistently great. Have a question or concern? Just call — even if you haven’t been in months. They’ll be honest and if you don’t need an appointment they won’t schedule you for one just because they could. Friendly, knowledgeable, convenient, and affordable. Nothing but pleased. Have and will continue to recommend this practice. No complaints or pain points at all. Tons of love and attention for my dog when I go in, which makes him love going back. Nice, friendly, accommodating, affordable service makes me agree with him.

Super friendly staff and probably one of the most affordable vets I’ve ever used. I love that the vets sit down with my dog and pet, hug and give her kisses when she visits them.
My dog recently suffered with acute pancreatitis — and the folks at Fifth and Kenny were fabulous. I was able to book an appointment (last minute) that morning and they admitted her that morning — and tried to reduce her fever, but as her condition continued to worsen they contacted MedVet and had me take her. The folks at MedVet said they did exactly what they should have.
Thanks to Fifth and Kenny, I have a happy, healthy pup!

I feel a lot differently about this place the other reviewers. They seem to be pleased with the fact the vets are nice. I happen to think vets should also be competent and honest. One of the doctors here fucked up the stitches on my dog, and it got infected. The ex brought my beloved old hound in to get the issue taken care of. They were on their usual please and thank you shit, very nice and accommodating, and they fixed their fuck up. The ex brings my dog home and tells me they made things right and fixed their mistake free of charge. Little over a week later they sent me a bill for over $ 200. So if you’d like a vet who is nice, but who will let you think they’re fixing a mistake they made, but then send you a bill for their fuck up, this is your place. Needless to say, I never came back and would advise you to not come in the first place.

I love Fifth and Kenny. In the past, I have been just as nervous to take my animals to the doctor as I have been going myself. I started bringing my animals here in the summer of 2011, and I don’t get that feeling anymore (though my dog is still a nervous Nellie).
This is a relatively small clinic compared to others I have been to, which gives it a very friendly atmosphere. When I walk in, the staff welcomes me and my dog (by name), and they are always super friendly. Dr. Custer is awesome, and my dog loves him– which may have something to do with the 10+ treats he gives her to win her over.
Their hours here are flexible enough, that I have never had a problem getting an evening or Saturday appointment when I have needed it, even on short notice. When I was worried about my dog losing weight, they were compassionate, yet realistic, and didn’t run unnecessary tests, though I had requested them. When you are being seen, the vet gets down on the floor with the animal to do exams, give shots, etc., instead of hoisting the animal onto a metal table. I love it!
I also love that the doctors and vet techs bring their animals to work and they hang out with them behind the counter.

so great to have a competent vet at a good price! it was so nice to see a vet who actually took the time to get to know my dog. instead of making my 13 year old border collie try and stand on the exam table, the doc sat down on the floor to do the exam. he prescribed a simple med for my dog’s achey joints and it has made a huge difference. will definitely bring my other dog there when he’s ready for his check up.

I’m a big fan of this veterinary practice. the price is reasonable and the vet is obviously an animal lover. yes, I’ve been to vets where they could not have cared less about the awesomeness of my cat. lame! here, they really seem to care and give the animals plenty of love and attention.
aside from the general touchy-​feeling aspect of this practice, they’re just good. I came here with David F’s fat cat and they diagnosed her with diabetes and then gave us a great explanation of taking care of her and took the time to show us how to give her shots. my cat was less complicated, but they were unrushed but efficient for a healthy-​cat checkup.
why would I go anywhere else? it’s the most convenient and I like the people, and they’ve handled a chronically ill kitty well.

I’ve been taking my 4 cats here for the past 2 years and I absolutely adore them. The staff are wonderful, all of them. They are so amazing with my cats (including my especially bratty little torty!) and always remember them and fuss over them. They’re very well priced and they really care.
