We carry close to 500 different domestic and import beers from all around the globe.

Extensive craft beer selection from obscure to well known breweries. One of the largest selection of Belgium beers in Ohio.

Our wine selection is about 500 varieties of wine from Europe, South America, New Zealand, Australia, South America, and California, Washington and Oregon wines. We try to carry mostly family farm products and stay away from factory farms. Mass produced wines are just not as good as family produced wines. We also try to rely on small and local distributors for our products.

We will soon introduce cheese and crackers to appetizers from our neighboring restaurants.

What’s going on with this place? Previously, GVCO always had a great selection of beer. The last couple times I’ve gone in, though, their selection has been extremely picked over and there are lots of bare spots in the coolers, especially in the bomber and single-​bottle sections. I’ve mentioned this to friends and they’ve had similar experiences. Plus they haven’t gotten some of the hard-​to-​find beers I used to count on them having. Is this place closing or something? Something isn’t right.

I love this place! There beer selection is huuuuuge! They have tons of quality, craft beer. It took me a long time to look through all of it, and I noticed that their prices were comparable to what you would find elsewhere.
They also have an ample amount of wine, which I didn’t pay much attention to. Regardless, go to Grandview Carry Out if you are in need of a tasty brew to help celebrate whatever.

$ 8 minimum on credit cards seems a bit steep. $ 5 should be standard except for the excusable $ 10 at bars. The craft beer selection is good, but not better than other places in town. The cashier was cool, of the semi-​stoner variety, and the biggest appeal… not one, but two shop cats. There were other snack type things around, but I was here for alcohol to take to Shoku across the way (review forthcoming)

Great selection of beer and wine. The employees are always down to help you pick out something new or just chat on the qualities of German Riesling.
Be sure to say hello to the cats when you go in. But be careful, they tend to sneak up on you.

When I say «carryout», what comes to mind? Beer? Yes. Chips? Sure. Wine? Maybe.
Well, much to my surprise, Grandview Carry Out had WALL-​TO-​WALL selections of beer and affordable wines, but sadly not the tortilla chip — or snack– offering I came in for.
Nonetheless, I came in for chips, but left with a six-​pack of Oberon and my favorite weeknight drink-​of-​choice bottle of pinot noir.

Such a gem in Grandview Heights. An amazing selection of craft beers and a decent wine selection to boot. And the cute kitty that hangs out on the register (named, appropriately, Guiness) gives you a good vibe for the hometown atmosphere.

Wow, this place has a superb selection of beers (over 600!) and the wine selection is very nice. It’s great to get something other then the grocery store variety. They have prices ranging from $ 10 to $ 50+. They have a great Spanish red (Don Ramon) which is under $ 10! The owners Bahram and Denise are super friendly, if you haven’t been, you should surely go to this place!

It’s a little store where you can go and pick up wine and beer in decent supply. The wines come from all over, including France, Spain, Chile, South Africa, Australia, Italy, and the good ol’ USA. Prices range from the $ 10s to the $ 20s, but a few under $ 10 can be found, such as the Cuvée de Peña. The beer selection is fairly extensive and comes from the USA (even local Columbus beers), Canada and some other international beers such as Guinness and Tsing Tao. I also saw some Czech beer and that piqued my interest since it’s rumored that Czech beer is one of the best kinds. Credit card purchases are allowed, but must be at least $ 8.00.
Regulars can be found stopping by, saying hello to Baron Hashemi (co-​owner) and Guinness, the resident cat. Guinness is a loveable black and white longhair who enjoys being held and petted.

Grandview Carryout recently replaced the old 7-​eleven on Grandview Ave. It’s right next door to Cow Town Pizza.
I went in looking for some Captain Morgan’s. Unfortunately, they don’t carry hard liquor. They did have some Popov, Bailey’s and Kahlua though. The rest is a very nice selection of beer and wine. I was impressed. I always like when I can buy just one bottle of beer, if it’s something I have never tried before.
This is definitely a great place to stop by on your way to a party for a last minute contribution.
