Gudenkauf Systems is a division of Gudenkauf Corporation in business since 1977. Gudenkauf is based in Columbus Ohio with office locations in Dayton and Wheeling.

Gudenkauf Corporation was established by Jeff Gudenkauf in 1977 to service the expanding telephone networks by installing Outside Plant Cable for national and regional telephone and utility operators. Since then, Gudenkauf has expanded to offer Outside Plant Construction (Aerial/​Direct Bury/​Directional Drilling), a division specializing in the installation of Fiber Optic Cable, Utility Locating and the Systems Integration Division, Gudenkauf Systems.

Gudenkauf remains locally owned by Jeff Gudenkauf and his family.
