I am a Hilton Diamond member and travel extensively for work. I have stayed at this Hampton a couple of times and never felt the need to say much about it. If I had reviewed it before I would have said 3 to 3−½ stars. That changed last night.
I returned to the hotel after a long work day looking forward to relaxing on my final night in town.
My room door was open several inches which was very obvious from the hallway. There was no one in my room, and thankfully nothing was missing. I reported it to the front desk, and received a sincere apology, but that doesn’t change my mind. I will not be returning to this location. If your housekeeping staff can’t handle the basic task of making sure the room door is closed and locked, you will not get anymore business from me.

Hotel staff was very nice, the rooms are great, I like that they had a 4 plugin for all my devices. A few nice touches in the room as well. Close to all the stores and not far from the base.

I have stayed here before and While mostly clean, there was mold in sink. I found the staff to be extremely high brow as if giving you the RIGHT to stay there. They heat was broken (25 degrees out), elevator out of order and front desk rude. When coming to Columbus, I will stay in one of the many hotels within walking distance. Disappointed in not being able to enjoy my Hampton Vacation (rates raised for Military function, somewhat like gauging)

I love this location.
So many food around, ihop, macD, burger king, taco bell etc…
As for the hotel it self, my room is clean, its bit larger than usual hampton location, bath room is clean, jusy on the small side plus my toilet is behind the door, so if i have to use it the door has to be close.
What is missing is sofa in the room or a comfy chair, they do have office chair and a regular dinning room chair. Which is hard to sit when you want to relax.
Well nothing is perfect this place is ok.

Friendly staff. The woman working the breakfast area seems to take pride in her work and is constantly cleaning, replacing, bring in fresh food, and it shows.

I came here for my brothers graduation from AIT. Although it is not around the corner from Ft. Benning it is fairly close. You get a great discount if your military! This is a great hotel! Very clean, with a large variety of amenities. Free wifi that you can actually use and it isn’t slow. They we’re very accommodating when I requested to check in four hours early and even when I requested to check out late. If it didn’t happen to me I would not have believed it. I typically have bad experiences with most hotels. Wonderful place and friendly staff if I ever return I would happily stay here again!
