I recommend these guys to everyone I know. They are professional, efficient, and cleaned up every trace of material when the waterproofing job was complete. They are worth every penny!

Had J&J come out and look at some cracks and blocks leaning in my basement. Got an estimate for around 2400 bucks to have two walls reinforced with 7 I-beams. They did a great job and I’m happy with the finished work.

Jim Grove is a friggin Surgeon! If you have a problem in your basement This is your first call ! He’s got years of experience, a great, hardworking crew and most importantly is a good man and a true American! No he’s not my father or brother… but it would be just fine with me if he was.

Jim Grove is a reliable, loyal, professional that I would refer to anyone needing structural or basement work. I’ve used him 16 years ago to install I steel beams on one side of my basement. I recently called him to have I steel beams installed on the other side. His price was EXTREMELY affordable and the work was neat. I hope Jim NEVER retires. We’re VERYHAPPY with his service and HIGHLYRECOMMEND that you call Jim.

Jim Grove is a godsend. Our new house had 3 foundation issues, that other contractors wanted $ 7000 and up and none of them agreed to fix all 3 problems… I was probably looking at $ 10k or more. One jackass even signed up and then never showed up. Then I found Jim… he immediately pointed that the solution I was asking him to put in would not work [none of the other contractors said that so far]. And I thought — here we go, now he will tell me the real solution will cost $ 20k…but he comes up with a better solution for only $ 2800. I couldnt believe my ears. He was done in 3 days, and that is how long he said it would take. When I went in to inspect the work, I see that he had put in 3 footers and pillars… his quote was only for 2. He said that 2 would be fine, but he added a third just to be real sure. I asked him how much more, and he said I didnt owe him anything… I insisted to pay him more and he flat refused to accept any more money. Disclaimer — since then Jim is what I consider a friend, and we do keep in touch from time to time. He even came by with his wife when we had a BBQ one summer. I know this sounds like a fantastic… so you can contact me via Unilocal and I’d be willing to show you his work and the invoice if needed. Jim is the kind of man who restores you faith in humanity. Caveat — he will take some time to get back to you, you may even have to try more than once.
